I am good now with using my g-mail. Would recommend something similar this way you do not rely on a UD server.

Thank you.. I have been wrapped up in the holidays I didn't realize how long they were not working. I added my g-mail for now and a test is working so I'll review this post and see what is the best direction for me or leave it now. Hi there everyone! Hope you had a great Christmas.. I was wondering if anyone else are not receiving the Default e-mails/notifications. I get a "Mail Server Failure / Unsupported Authentication Method" when I try to run a test. I have not changed anything on the ISY and was wondering if anyone else are using the default server and having the same issues. Thanks & Happy Holidays to all! Stan

I use a Mac also and did not experience that otherwise I might have been more helpful to you. I know it is basics but just a thought you are using the 16b console? I have not experienced what you have yet. Maybe try & reboot and try again if so.

I'd imagine like you said things are busy and with the holidays it makes it even more challenging as this is time to spend with family & friends. I know it may seem like a stretch but did you try removing it and reinstalling it physically? Did you have a backup before this with .14 and try a restore to that? Maybe also try to do another manual update to .16B if nothing works.

I had also tried to set the Z-Wave options to "No" on Automatically putting battery devices to sleep and have had a few occurrences of non-updated status resulting in my lock not operating properly with my Geo-Fence. I have to manually check every time to make sure my lock works now since it is inconsistent or not rely on lock automation. Hopeful it is a minor fix.

That is probably a good way to describe it.. It does work and programs run most of the time but for some reason when it does not update the correct status is when things fall apart. I see this as an important item to see what is going on as I do rely on Geo Fence to make sure my locks are locked when I'm away. Now with the inconsistency I have to keep checking and not comfortable things are doing what is expected. Kind of goes against the automation aspect. Hope there is a simple fix. I would rather not look for a new lock.

Yup.. installed B a few days ago and no issues here with leak sensors. Good tip on the disabled programs. I have a few myself and at one time started dumping them into a folder called "Disabled Programs" but recently I have just left them where they were and a few got me on this coming from 4.7.3. I had lights turning on when I was not expecting to and after some detective work I finally realized 2 of my disabled programs were still enabled crating the effect. Not sure how I would live without UDI.. they are truly awesome and I am always recommending them when someone sees my home automation.

Seems good here also so far on B.. just came from A but was having one last issue with my Z-Wave Schlage Connect not updating a status after a while so some of my programs are not running right at times. Did not have that before going to 5.0.16A from 4.7.3. I just tried to set the option to not automatically put battery devices back to sleep. Hoping that helps. Seems my leak sensor activation, notices and Dome water valve all shut off during a test so that is good now. Keep up the great work UDI!!

Other than the Schlage lock and Dome water valve name change (no biggie) everything seems to be ok after grooming through programs and disabling some that were not enabled. I made a list before the upgrade and also copied the programs folder to a text file to refer back to. I would prefer to not have to start from scratch for the Schlage Z-Wave lock. Are there options at this point to bring things back or do I just have to add it again and fix/rebuild my lock programs? Would downgrading and trying again be worth while? I did follow the synchronize Z-Wave nodes & restart console before going into program tabs during the upgrade.

I do see this may be ok as it seems my programs for the valve all reference it also... I'm trying to see why my lock is missing. That is bothering me a bit. All my lock programs look broke. This was one where it would lock the door at 10PM .. Front Door Lock - [ID 001D][Parent 006E] If Time is 10:00:00PM And Status (Old) <Not Specified> is null Then Response type 10 Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')

Well my luck would have it that my Z-Wave devices are having problems. My Schlage Connect is not there and my Dome Water valve looks like it is showing up as a Binary Switch.. fun stuff.

Quick question.. Looking over the pre-requisites for Z-Wave. If you are already on 4.55 you do not need to do anything correct? I do not have any means to shift a Z-Wave controller. The ISY is my only controller for Z-Wave. I only have 2 Z-Wave devices.. a Schlage Connect & a Dome Water Shutoff valve Just want to be sure I understand the procedure based on what I have. Thanks..

Just wanted to say for the program test it is working as expected now bit I did remove the Christmas tree as it was a take from my night program that I don't expect any conflict I am going to tattoo "Status" and "Control" definitions on my forehead and beat it into my brain!!
