  1. One sec...screen capture coming to this thread.
  2. I can't wait until we can do dates and days of a week without the year.
  3. Ahh why did you delete that. I was going to post this stuff... Folders and Dates Thread Date Ranges Thread The thing is I can't find the one where Michel says 2.7 or 2.8 release. To answer how I did it, here is the folder If code. Folder Conditions for 'Christmas' Add conditions to limit when programs in this folder are allowed to run. If From 12:00:00AM on 2007/11/22 To 12:00:00AM on 2008/01/01 Then Allow the programs in this folder to run.
  4. You know what; I use my extra Christmas dimmers for signal repeating just by leaving them plugged in. As for the programs I have all them in a Christmas folder that disables the contents when it’s not between Thanksgiving and New Years.
  5. Run 'If' means, it evaluates the If statement and then drops thru to the Then or Else. I am not sure how useful this is, but none the less it was requested.
  6. That program should have been there, I bet you might have nuked it at some point. I have not seem much issue with this running every day. I also added a couple of KPL LED syncing scenes too to make sure every day my LEDs are correct too.
  7. Michel, Somewhere I have seen a post requesting the menu pull-down to have all three options so any part of the program could be tested. Is this a possible feature enhancement? Run 'If' Run 'Then' Run 'Else'
  8. I am using IE7, no problems here. The Java version is more of an issue than which browser.
  9. This is a great idea. The bummer is it does chew up links.
  10. Did you use the sorting icon?
  11. I also have verified this from inside my network. I don't test remote access though. I am not sure of why it works like this.
  12. I real quickly put together a Wiki entry for Spidering My Network that explains how to keep your existing links from your devices. It has been a while since I have used this so let me know if the instructions are not complete enough.
  13. This is great; I think you have some understanding of GUI creation etiquette! I like that you show a context menu instead of putting buttons across the bottom of the tab area. Also I like that you properly colored white/lightblue every other row in the table to keep continuity with the other tables in the ISY (the program summary needs to have this done) which makes the table much easier to scan up and down for a device. I have a suggestion; the table on the left needs a context menu too. One entry could be “Show Only Assigned Addressesâ€. This would shrink the table entries down to showing only devices you have assigned and hide all the blank rows.
  14. I still keep thinking I might put my structured media panel on UPS backup to keep my network up so Vonage will still work and it would keep all the other devices like my ISY working too.

I also was planning to ask for "The Coffee Shop" forum for casual conversation, or look what I did, proud father posts.
  16. Guys guys ... don't forget that Scene Theory states there is eleven dementions.
  17. on/off metaphor? The Insteon on/off commands should work?
  18. Michel, Could you make the logs CSV (comma separated values)? Then any spreadsheet program could open it.
  19. Oops my mistake. I don't think I have looked at the logs yet.
  20. The trick here is Excel has to have the XLM filter to bring XML into Excel. Excel by its self would not view it without the built in filter which I think is "being" installed with the default install of the Office disk. So if the free viewer has the built in filter with it will work.
  21. I added the xml Excel viewing instructions to the same Wiki page.
  22. The xml file shows nicely in Word. There is also the "Getting a Network Typology Table" you can use to get a html table version of your network.
  23. Can you post the program you created to do this?
  24. Yeah I will have to spend some time study this post in order to add it to the Wiki, it's very detailed! Actually the wife has asked me for the Holidays to keep my Wiki time light so the kids get my time. So the Wiki will have to get attention when we all get back to work after the vacation.
  25. I don't think it has been added to the database yet but with it being only a single I/O device it would be an easy add for the guys. It might work even so, but not show you what it is when you linked it.
