I know what your going thru, it just just hit our little family too. I am sorry to hear that, I hope you feel better soon.
-
This is great! I got to try this stuff out! And thanks for not using "foo" "bar" coding examples.
-
I would imagine that they will want us to upgrade by purchasing a new one instead of trading in and old one for the firmware update.
-
AOL people will enjoy this one... Cancel The Account ...takes a moment to load the audio but its funny.
-
Also to turn this thought another way; please you and Chris have R&R with the family from time to time. We don't want you guys to get burned out!

That's ok; I screwed up my PC anyways. It had some .net issue on my machine and Microsoft's forum said to remove then reinstall. I did the remove and now can't reinstall it no matter what I try (reg edits, safe mode attempts, system restores, etc), its starting to look like reinstalling the OS is the fix, so I have gotten myself a project. With java using .net I can't get into my ISY anyways.

I do want to point out too that, the bigger the collective of ideas the better a product can be. That is another part that so many companies have missed for so many years. The products they make can be so much more if the listen to more than just their own engineers; because lets face it engineers are great at making the functionality but not always so good at making it user friendly.

The part that makes all this work is Michel sees us more then just another sale.

//clap...rubbing hands together// Now that list is getting good...I am excited for 2.7 to come.

alf has the idea. This will later be able to be done with variables too but for now this it a great workaround for this.
-
Gosh, I really don't see that much issue with this. It only affects the secondary buttons on the Keypadlincs LEDs. So if you're doing some kind of vacation button you will have an issue otherwise the ISY does fine. And this will have a workaround in the future when variables come out for the ISY. d_l is correct too there is the run at reboot option too.

Guys, I added a note in the top post of this thread to redirect newcomers to the Wiki FAQ and How-To Guides. Thanks,
-
Your choice, it just adds a layer of extra accuracy buy updating the ISYs status of all your devices. Most of the time the ISY is correct so this is just a nice to have program, not required.
-
Another option for the 1.5 KPLs is many users get a inlinelinc for the load and don't use the keypadlinc load.
-
I was wondering about your naming convention...why do you keep the device's address in the name? 'Master KPL 1st FL 08.47.97.G'
-
There is a discussion going on about this very thing in this thread.
-
I looked at the print preview and it looks horrible. I am so sorry about that. I am experimenting with what I can do.
-
2:20 am! I see your burning the midnight oil too.
-
About what time do you think it will be released? Are the updates for both the ISY-26 and the ISY-99i, or will their be seperate releases packages?
-
Shoot. I forget some people still use their printer. Let me think about how I might be able to put the table on a "diet" width wise and make it print a little better.
-
My guess would be yes because its output will be INSTEON standard functionality.
-
But don't forget the ISY-99i has a power jack too. So I bet the cable can be long if you use a wall-wart power supply.
-
Good question; what is the max cable length for ISY-99i?
-
The nice thing about the ISY is it is accessable from muitiple locations; the weblink (which you can drag and drop an icon to your desktop so you don't have to go to the website), My Network Places, and direct IP address.
-
Without the ISY the link is useless. Michel, Does that link have a graceful exit if it does not find any ISY to launch?
