One LampLinc goes dead after each beta update
Good question Rand this could be a xx.00.xx bug. Or the new fix could be still buggy. Are you running the latest version 2.4.13 of the beta?
-
how many links?
Only the PLM knows, but at some point the PLM will have a callback to tell the ISY how many links it has.
-
2.4.13
Use the ISY PLM Link Calculator and post the total count here when your done.
-
2.4.13
Looks like from the screen capture he has about 35 devices and 12 scenes, just a guess though.

Knit Picking 2.4.12
Screen capture of missing part name for inline devices.

'Repeat 0 times' entries
Repeat 0 == Comment Hum ok that makes since...sort of...not really. Why not just make it named Comment or something that is easier to understand? Maybe alias it in the java: function Comment (args) { Repeat 0 (args) }

how many links?
Ooo...are they going to add a callback to the new PLMs that return link info?

Bug: Scheduled times show True when past the time
These programs are showing "Idle: true" even though it is 11:19 am right now. Should they really be showing "Idle: false"? If Time is Sunrise + 2 hours Then Set Scene 'Inside All Scene' Off Wait 10 seconds Set Scene 'Inside All Scene' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') If Time is 2:59:00AM Then Set Scene 'Inside Off LEDs' Off Set Scene 'Inside On LEDs' On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') If Time is 3:00:00AM Then Set Scene 'My Lighting' Query Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')

Are you using the beta link to launch the ISY admin console? http://www.universal-devices.com/beta/

'Repeat 0 times' entries
Chris, I still see the '0' as an option in the spinbox widget for repeat; is this correct? Rand, Please test this to see if it is now fixed in the new beta 2.4.13 release because I don't want to lock my box up. Mark

Do you do a backup from before you installed the beta? If so then you can use that to get your stuff back.

how many links?
The ISY PLM Link Calculator is for estimation for users and new users. Actual numbers would have to be done in the ISY like your mentioning.

off or on events when switch is off or on
If you like this here is some more ideas for a single switch... Making a single button device multi functional

how many links?
I did not know if the "onKeyUp" tag argument worked in the Mac browser or not. Sounds like it works. Thanks!

how many links?
I can't answer exactly why the 2x on the keypadlincs because Michel added that to the math so I suspected it was correct. He would have to answer to it but my guess it each button is able to be a controller so it takes two links per controller. ISY PLM Link Calculator

off or on events when switch is off or on
This is how you would do it with a program and the light can already be off and it will still work. If Control 'Master Read Light' is switched Fast Off Then Set Scene 'Inside All Scene' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
-
off or on events when switch is off or on
It should already work that way. Which version of the beta are you using because that was already fixed a couple versions back.

Z-Wave support
Wow! I too would like to read up on this...links please.
-
Z-Wave support
No worries here because I am an Insteon dude and don't plan mixing the two.
-
Z-Wave support
Is it a separate new controller or is it going to be in the ISY-26?

Help! PLM malfunction??
One caveat is that you have to have purchased it from them directly otherwise you have to work with who you bought it from. Most of the sellers of the PLM will also trade them too.

Help! PLM malfunction??
It may not be field upgradeable but Smarthome will let you swap it out for an upgraded one at no charge over and over again as new firmwares come out.

Help! PLM malfunction??
I stand by the 5.2 PLM, it is a good product, it just needs hearing-aids.

Help! PLM malfunction??
Dude, you got me. Michel keeps telling me with a smile, that would be a good question for submitting over at the techmall forum.
