Cool ISY Uses / Ideas

I have the ISY and I have to say, I have only found it marginally useful as it does not have X10 and all I have Insteon are Switchlincs and a Keypadlinc. I thought it would be a good idea to reach out the to rest of the community and see how you are using the ISY / Insteon in general and what some of the slicker things one can do are. Thanks in advance for the input.

if i had onea those latch key rugratlincs, i'd train them to push a keypadlinc button when they arrived home from shcool safely - the button would send a message to the cell phone - or an e/mail

heatvent, this is an excellent idea, excellent thread, and one which would eagerly monitor. Sorry for the X10 support; you never know, we might actually try and do it.
