Hello all,

I am happy to announce the availability of our 4.0.1 Beta release! For a list of changes, please take a look at viewtopic.php?f=25&t=10770]this post[/url].

IMPORTANT If you have not already done so, please upgrade your Java to 1.7.13: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=10409 .

IMPORTANT We will no longer have any firmware updates for ISY99i Series (viewtopic.php?f=44&t=10771) .

Know Issues

- None

Things to test:

- All fixes and enhancements

*Please note that Safari does not support SSL session reuse and thus might take an exorbitant amount of time to communicate with ISY. As such, when using 2048 bit SSL, it's best not to use Safari.

*For a discussion of variables, please look at our Program Variables forum.

Instructions:

1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK

2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip

ISY 994i Series

ISY 994i Z & ZS Series

3. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system]

4. Choose the file saved in step 2

5. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache

6. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console:

a. Enable Java Plugin: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/di ... rowser.xml

b. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application

c. http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/4.0.1/admin.jnlp

d. Disable Java Plugin: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/di ... rowser.xml

Please note that both methods above should install an icon on our desktop which should be used instead of using a browser to access ISY.

Dashboard

- http://isy.universal-devices.com/99i/4. ... board.jnlp

8. Please backup your system again

Thanks and with kind regards,

Michel

I/O Linc Relay slider now sets Responder On Level to 0% or 100% - 4.0.1 change, works great

However, regardless of whether On Level at 100% or 0% the I/O Linc Relay Status is reversed.

The Relay action is physically reversed with 0% On Level. Scene Off button turns Relay On and Scene On button turns Relay Off as expected. The Relay Current State Status correctly tracks the physical state of the Relay. This is change at 4.0.1 and is working correctly.

The problem now is when the Responder On Level is set to 100%, Scene On turns the Relay On as it should, however the Relay Current State Status is still reversed as though the Responder On Level was set to 0% On Level. Scene On turns Relay On correctly, Relay Status shows Off. Scene Off turns Relay Off correctly, Relay Status shows On.

Upgraded to 4.0.1 and installed zwave module without issue.

Thanks.

EDIT: What/where exactly is the IP camera support mentioned? - Found it! - On the basic web interface.

Thanks Lee, I have been fighting my Garage Door programs for 1/2 hr now. I agree Relay current state "is" reversed. When I send an ON it reports OFF.

Also, I think the 100% reporting thing still needs a little work. In the program UI all my ONs now report 100% which doesn't make sense for some devices.

IO Linc status can only be ON or OFF, it's little confusing to see 100%.

Motion Sensors only report ON or OFF, Low Batt also.

I'm happy to see 100% for devices that can have various levels but ON / OFF only devices should display and be able to be programmed ON / OFF only. My 2c.

A lot of devices that show 100% can be changed to ON in the program lines in the lower window. Some can, some can only be 100%, OFF or Responding. If a device shows it can only be set to those values, if you come back to it later it does give you the ON option. I think if you are checking status in the IF statement it's stuck to checking for 100% but in the THEN statement you can change back to ON most of the time.

Examples:

EZFLora showed 100% but allowed me to change it to ON

Motion Sensors only allow 100%, OFF or Responding

Thermostat scenes showed 100% but allowed me to change to ON.

Thank you for addressing Item #3. Been fighting with this command for some time now.

I have a beeper hooked up such that if the Sensor reads an ON command then my beeper will beep. Unfortunately the beeper beeps at 100% as well also beeps at 0%. I hope that by adding the option from just sensor ON, OFF or respond, that the % amount can be added thereby I belive will fix my issue if I can then state vs if ON beep to if 100% then beep.

Thanks

Hello all,

Thanks so very much for the feedback:

1. ISY Finder issues - Bug ID#38

2. IOLinc Status issues - Bug ID#39

3. On showing 100% - Bug ID#40

With kind regards,

Michel

Xathros, could you post a screen shot or dozen? I've not bought any cameras yet, and chicken to go to 4.01 this moment.

If you need, I can host the photos, just email me.

Looks like some theme issues in 4.0.1

As soon as I added a Zwave device, the blue started to creep in. I think the finder came up blue before that. The Wiki seems to show the theme working so not sure if this is just a MAC thing.

Here are some examples:

I noticed the Add dialog for zwave devices has a MASSIVE font size during the add and only the bottom half of the Adding Device message was visible.

No operational problems to report yet.

Unfortunately this should have no affect on your problem. ON means the same thing as 100%. Whether it shows as ON or shows a 100% the I/O Linc can only be OFF (0%) or ON (100%).

Is the I/O Linc using Trigger Reverse option?

First zwave related operational problem - maybe.

I created a scene with a zwave appliance module as responder and a Togglinc as controller as shown below. If I turn the scene on/off from the console it works just fine. If I turn the scene on/off from the togglinc, the console shows the togglinc status change but does not tell the zwave module to turn on/off. If I run a scene test, it fails as below. Both the module and togglinc turn on for the test but the appliance module does not turn off untiol after the trest reports failed.

I understand that the Insteon togglinc does not link to the zwave module but I assume ISY is supposed to pass on the message when both devices coexist in a scene. Am I misunderstanding? Do I need to use programs to track and manage the devices?

LeeG,

My problem actually was a silly on... I had to put a condition under the chime asking to check if sensor was ON then chime.. I had left this condition out and only had state conditions which were from the logs being triggered as true.. Adding the sensor condition must be on resolved my issue.

Reverse trigger did the opposite of what I wanted done..

Thanks for your assistance, led me in the right direction..

Roman
