jmed999 Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 As the population continues to moves from desktops/laptops to tablets how will we access the Admin Console on our tablets? I'm not just talking about an app to turn a light on and off, I'm talking about a way to enter and manipulate programs, etc. How will UD make the jump to tablets? The ISY is the only reason I still use my laptop. For everything else computing wise I use tablets. Thanks! Quote
Michel Kohanim Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Hi jmed999, Currently we have no plans of supporting anything tablet related. There are basically too many operating systems and not much that works on all (except Javascript which has its own compatibility issues across different browsers, screen resolutions, operating systems). With kind regards, Michel Quote
chevyman Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 So after 1.5 years later anything on a way to do admin with android tablet? Quote
Xathros Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) Unless the tablet runs Java, the only way is via RDC/VNC to a PC running java. I do this with my iPad or iPhone back to my Mac when working on things around the house. Easier than carrying the laptop everywhere. -Xathros Edited October 27, 2014 by Xathros Quote
chevyman Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 Now that they say the new RaspberryPi 2 can run windows 10, maybe someone will come out with a RaspberryPi 2 that will let an android device access the Admin Console. Quote
