InsteonNut Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Hi Everyone, We've applied for a 250k small business grant from Chase bank as part of their 3 million dollar Mission Main St. Grant program. Chase will select 12 small businesses and award them each a 250k grant explicitly to expand and grow their small business and we need your help to qualify! We need to receive a minimum of 250 votes to be eligible for grant consideration. We are looking for help from people like you who support our cause and what we would do with this incredible opportunity. See here: http://mobilinc.com/grants/ for our expansion plan for MobiLinc if we are selected as one of the 12 recipients. To vote, please click here: http://bit.ly/1ah7fZK. All you need is a Facebook account to register your vote by November 15th, 2013. Your personal information will not be used or shared. After voting, please share this link with your friends and help us register at least 250 votes! Thank you for your support! Wes
arw01 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I would be in, but have no facebook, and not sure will. Do they by chance have a Google + side too?
InsteonNut Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 Hi arw01, Doesn't look like it. Chase is only using Facebook authentication to "count" votes. Wes
Michel Kohanim Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Hi Wes, I voted and thanks so very much for your contributions. With kind regards, Michel
PurdueGuy Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Sorry. Avoiding facebook. I like my privacy. Nothing in the rules say you have to be an active Facebook user. It's just an method for accounting where they (Chase) don't have to create accounts, manage them, etc. You can just create a Facebook account, vote, and never log in again.
oberkc Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 You can just create a Facebook account, vote, and never log in again. Yes, I understand. However, I remain concerned about other's use of tags or postings relative to my activity. No, I choose simply to stay off. Perhaps if I percieved some value in facebook, I might be willing to reconsider.
