jdva Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 I have started using an iTouch and the ISY web interface as my primary means of control. This combination seems to work extrodinarily well and is much cheaper than dedicated touchscreens. There is only one drawback? The default size for the web pages on the iTouch are unuseable for the sight challenged like me. EVERY page has to be resized in order to read it. This wears on you after a while. I have found that you can "double touch" any "list" and the page will automatically blow up to a readable size. So the scene and device lists will zoom easily however, the "device" screens do not. My request is: Could you add simple on and off buttons to the scene and device lists. 90% of the time I am just turning something on or off and this would make life a lot easier. Another otpion would be a way to automatically make the screens readable always. Thanks,
Michel Kohanim Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 jdva, Excellent idea. Also, if you haven't yet, you can try the beta iPhone app developed by one of our loyal developers: http://forum.isyremote.com With kind regards, Michel I have started using an iTouch and the ISY web interface as my primary means of control. jdva Posted September 10, 2008 Author Posted September 10, 2008 I see and it works great! Thank you very much. I am so happy I won't even mention the wide row spacing. Thanks again! You and the ISY are awesome.
Michel Kohanim Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 Hi Jeff, Thank YOU! Of course, the wide row spacing is now on our list but didn't want to delay more just because of that! With kind regards, Michel I see and it works great! Thank you very much. I am so happy I won't even mention the wide row spacing. Thanks again! You and the ISY are awesome.
