C Martin
Michel, You made mention of a Weather Bug Option under the 6.9 Update. I did some research on Weather Bug and I am not sure what devices would be an option for Weather Bug. i downloaded the Weather Bug Desktop and other Widget for the Mac and I like what I see. Can you expand on the idea of an option for Weather bug that you have in mind? Also, maybe we could have a separate thread for the Weather Bug. I already have a program that I manually set a flag for when it's raining to turn my sprinklers off, but I have to remember to change that flag after the rain. I look forward to having an interface that I can use for rainy days as well as extended low humidity times so that my sprinkler control can be automatically changed for the conditions. Michel Kohanim
Hi C Martin, This has already been implemented in 2.6.11 and, therefore, no longer do you have to use a flag: you can use rain information directly in your ISY programs to turn on/off your sprinklers. All you have to do is to go to Help->Purchase Modules and you can buy and install the module instantaneously. I like the idea of a new forum for WeatherBug. With kind regards, Michel, You made mention of a Weather Bug Option under the 6.9 Update. Michel Kohanim
Hi C Martin, Do you have ISY-26 or 99i as this is only available for 99i. And, which URL are you going to? With kind regards, Michel Hi Michel, A fast response as always. Sorry but I can't find the link under the help that you mentioned in order acquire the Weather bug option. Link to comment
C Martin
Oh! Another good reason for me to upgrade to the 99. Thanks Link to comment
C Martin
Michel, I just ordered my upgrade to the 99i Pro. How much is the weatherbug option? Is it a device? I guess I can order that afer I get my 99i. I hope the new 99i will have the latest firmware. Can I just unzip my ISY 26 Programs (Backup) into the 99I for migration? Clarence Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi C Martin, Excellent. WeatherBug module is $49.00 and it's a module which communicates with WeatherBug servers. All you have to do is to find the closest station to you and then use the weather parameters in your programs. The firmware is 2.6.5 with all the new 99is. You will have to upgrade to 2.6.11 (or hopefully our official 2.7) when you receive the unit. And, yes, just back up your ISY-26 and restore it on to your 99i PRO.
