As title states, I just spent some time adding numerous programs to my ISY portal, which went normally, and when I went to the Alexa Smarthome page to "Discover Devices" in order for them to be ready for use by Alexa, they didn't show up on the "found devices" list. Some new ones showed up all right, but they were somebody else's !  French and English names, about 15 or 18 scenes and programs that are not mine. Plus, the programs that WERE mine, that I just added to the ISY portal, (and still show there, as expected) did NOT show up on my alexa Discovered devices list. All my older stuff was still there.

 

Deleted all the bogus scenes / programs, logged out of ISY portal and Amazon Alexa page. Logged back in and tried again - same thing.

 

WTH??

 

Anybody have any clue what could be going on?  All normal until tonight and this....

Same thing just happened to me.  None of my 5 dots are controlling my devices now.  Really bizarre.

Same thing here. My devices stopped responding and I now have multiple devices that aren't mine and are in French:

I have the same thing going on. I deleted everything in the ISY Portal and Alexa still finds 26 (French) devices.

I also have the same thing.. and the same devices coming up.  I rebooted my router tonight and initially blamed it on that, but now looking at these threads clearly something has gone badly wrong.  Help!

Same here, I now show 57 discovered devices and I only have 21

Ditto on this, I tried some of these devices...my wife gets excited when I say "Alexa, turn on Douche"...  Maybe its working.

I only rediscovered because my devices I have setup weren't responding.

I have the same exact problem! None of my devices work anymore, and I am seeing devices in french on the list that i do not own. I tried unlinking from the amazon app as well as the isy portal then relinking but that did not fix the problem.

I think its the echo on Smart Home on their "cloud" side.. My thermostats stopped responding through the venstar skill... was wondering if it was ISY Portal, but pretty sure its not

Hmm, I was thinking it was ISY as I see no chatter about it outside of this forum so far.

Weird. I just checked using the Alexa application on my phone and mine are all good.

Just for fun I rediscover a moment ago (11 pm edt) and all is well again

Same problem, all of my devices stopped working tried clearing and rediscover, now I have my harmony devices but my isy devices are gone and replaced with the mystery ones.

Looks like mine is back to normal as well. Thank goodness!
