Replacing a broken Keypad

I have a Keypad that is only responding intermittently and  I would like to replace it with a new one.  Is there a way to copy all the scene inclusions and programs of the old keypad to the new keypad?

Yes, it is one of my favorite ISY features. You:

Add the new keypad of same kind number of buttons and dimmer / switch

Move broken one out of any folder

Click on broken one and select replace

Pick the one just added

ISY will update itself and all scene member ships and programs internally with the new Insteon ID

I have had to restore other devices in the scenes on occasion to get links back it sync.

Both the old and the new device need to be the same type, i.e. 8 button keypad dimmer.

Physically remove the old keypad, then physically install the new keypad. Link the new keypad to the ISY. Once the new keypad is linked right click on the old keypad,  which will still show in the ISY, and click on replace (name of your old keypad) with the new keypad (which will show up as a replacement option). The admin console will then shutdown.

All your scenes, programs, etc. will transfer over to the new device.
