Posted February 9, 20205 yr Has anyone found an elegant way to mount Polisy in a SMC? Man this thing takes up a lot of real estate in there.

February 10, 20205 yr Here's what I ordered to mount Polisy in my Leviton can: https://www.pcengines.ch/brk1d.htm The plan is to attach them to something like this: https://www.leviton.com/en/products/47612-fsb or this: https://www.leviton.com/en/products/47612-1sb I've not had time to do it yet, so I don't know all the gotchas, but it should work. It's really quite annoying that Polisy doesn't have slots in the case for sliding it on top of screw heads like the ISY does, would have made mounting a lot easier, cheaper, and wouldn't take up as much room. I'd have just mounted it to one of the half-width universal security plates: https://www.leviton.com/en/products/47612-hsb the same as I did with my ISY. If you're not opposed to using velcro, you can just use the adhesive velcro strips that come with the plate and call it a day.
February 10, 20205 yr Author @giesen Excellent! Thank you. I never would have found that first piece. The others I have used before.
February 10, 20205 yr Be sure to double check dimensions, I was doing some digging this morning and even the full size security plate may not be tall enough. You may have to go with the security brackets to make it work.Sent from my SM-N9500 using Tapatalk
