Pster Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 Can someone tell me where to find an app to access my ISY on an iPhone and/or iPad? I am searching the forum and can’t seem to find it. I do have a My Lighting app that is very old and I can’t remember where/how I got it. Many thanks!! phil
BCreekDave Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 MobiLinc is I think the most popular. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pster Posted July 22, 2020 Author Posted July 22, 2020 Is the My Lighting app still available? It was simple and worked for me since I only have Insteon lighting switches.
slimypizza Posted July 22, 2020 Posted July 22, 2020 Honestly. I just use a browser from my iPhone. I have my ISY bookmarked on FireFox. 1
Pster Posted July 22, 2020 Author Posted July 22, 2020 Thanks Slimy! Yes....I remember now.....I’ll access the 192.168.1.....Address and save it to my home screen. Thanks for jogging my old memory.... phil
stephan Posted November 28, 2020 Posted November 28, 2020 I am going to revive this thread here as I keep coming back to the same question over and over. I am using the MobiLinc app and it has been working great in recent years, however as I have been adding more and more z-wave devices it falls short of displaying and controlling said devices. For instance I have a new thermostat that is fully controllable in the ISY admin console, but I can only see the temp in the MobiLinc app. The MobiLinc app hasn't been updated for years and I am not ready to pay monthly subscriptions for "MobiLink X" either. What other alternatives are there? Can we expect something based on polisy maybe? What are others using instead? -Stephan

In my experience, it beats Mobilinc, though for access outside of your local network, you have to pay $ 5 / mo for the cloud service. Though I paid for both Mobilinc Pro and X, I now mostly use the Home Assistant App. 2

It is in early beta testing and looks very promising. It displays my zwave thermostat with all of the nodes available. In addition, it loads quickly and looks like it will support most if not all of the nodeserver a. It needs a little time to develop, but as I said, it looks very promising. 3
Michel Kohanim Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Hello all, Our Android version of UD Mobile app is ready for testing. It fully supports all types of INSTEON, Z-Wave, and node servers (Ecobee, Tesla, Ring, etc.). Shortly, I am going to send an email to those who have signed up for developer news. UD Mobile works only with 5x version of ISY Firmware. The IOS version is in the works as well and should be available for testing soon. With kind regards, Michel 9 1
jfai Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 (edited) Marvelous! Scenes don't work right. "On" or "Fast on" just turn every device on. Maybe I don't get the UX. See closed issue. Edited November 30, 2020 by jfai

Hi @jfai, Thanks for testing. You are correct that the scenes On and Fast On perform the same function. The ISY does not have an Status Controls for scenes. Status to percentage is executed on each device in app and not the scene. I see you have already opened an Issue so will update there. Thanks to everyone for testing!
