I'm running an ISY 944i / IR Pro unit that is at least 5 or 6 years old, probably more, at my house.   I have hundreds of insteon devices that it is running.  It's not always happy and I wonder if it's a bit overloaded.

Meantime, I want to put some basic lighting control automation in one of my work buildings, at a different location.  A dozen insteon devices at most.    I thought now might be a good time to upgrade the house ISY and move the existing one from the house to the work building.

So, what model should I be shopping for?   90% of what I'm controlling is lights, with a few relays and sensors added in for luck.

The same isy994 is the latest and greatest. UDI has released polisy which is destined to become the new ISY but until then (until further notice), the 994 is the latest and greatest

I suspect that if "it's not always happy" you need to do some troubleshooting.   Could be lots of issues from communications, to poorly written programs, to network errors.  We can generally help figure things out but we need a bit more information to get started.  tell us what the issues are.

A good starting point might be the error log.
