DennisC Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 @glarsen I have Time Data running on both PG2 & PG3. Both are showing sunrise for today at 06:08 am and sunset at 17:57. According to google sunrise today was at 7:11 am and sunset at 7:01 pm. Same differences are shown for tomorrow in Time Data. PoI is showing correct current time and DST is set up for correct location on Configuration page.
glarsen Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 Try restarting the Node server. If I recall correctly, I think calculations happen at midnight and of course the time change is at 2am. I'll look into this tomorrow when I get back home.

Previously, I rebooted Polisy, so restarting Polisy didn't restart the Node Server?
glarsen Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 (edited) I just looked at this. I did find something that is related to the change to/from DST, so will issue an update in a bit. Restarting the polisy would restart everything, PG2, PG3 and all node servers. Edited March 13, 2022 by glarsen

I had restarted Polisy before posting here and it didn't correct the issue. Time and date in Polisy is correct, but Polisy sunrise/sunset is not. I have another post in Polisy help section for UD.
Techman Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 It appears that the Polisy Sunrise and Sunset parameters didn't adjust for daylight savings time
glarsen Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 (edited) It should be fine after restarting, as mine (on Polisy) was good after the restart. I did find a bug where the sunset/sunrise times were not being updated properly. The code was only checking for DST at startup, not every longPoll and release 3.2.21 corrects this. Timedata calculates Sunrise/Sunset times itself, independently of the Polisy/ISY, so the Timedata times should be correct now. Edited March 13, 2022 by glarsen
Techman Posted March 13, 2022 Posted March 13, 2022 There's a bug in the program. It shows custom location and I'm unable to change it. Rebooting doesn't correct it. Sunrise and sunset are still off by 1 hour, but time is correct. I have all the latest package updates for the Polisy.

I have a separate post under Polisy regarding that issue. 1

That is an ISY on Polisy issue, and has nothing to do with what my Node server displays. 1

Since the beginning of IoP, mine originally sowed incorrect times and couldn't set time zones or lat/long properly. However UDI corrected that on the surface and all showed properly, but the internal time clocks were never correct and all based on being 5 hours out. [minutes since start of day], sunrise and sunset parameters in programs were all off by 5 hours. Also events, and variable change times were recorded by the same 5 hour off clock. When writing variable values manually, the times were correct. A ticket was opened on this issue by me and possibly several others so a fix should be coming soon, hopefully. With many other MAJOR problems, based on the last upgrade I gave up and went back to ISY994 and polyglot on RPi 3, for now.
Michel Kohanim Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Sunrise/sunset times in IoP are UI only issues and already fixed. With kind regards, Michel 1 2
