kzboray Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 Just sharing my experience. sudo pkg update & sudo pkg upgrade sudo service pg3 restart Opened my web browser (FireFox) and found that PG3 was showing it needed to be restarted. putty polisy sudo service PG3 restart No change to PG3, still showing it needs to be restarted. Logged out of PG3 and restarted one more time. Logged back in and everything was fine. It seems that last step of logging out and back in fixed things. Your mileage may vary. 1
Michel Kohanim Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 I have experienced the same. I blame Angular. With kind regards, Michel
bpwwer Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 If the version numbers match and it's saying it needs to be restarted, just re-loading the browser should fix it. Apparently 3.0.62 does not equal 3.0.62 sometimes. I suspect that the old version is cached somewhere and that's why it does that, but it should be comparing the same values it's displaying. 1
Michel Kohanim Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 @bpwwer, it's cached in Angular! I hate that thing!!!!! With kind regards, Michel
