Sengled E11-N1EAW Zigbee Light Bulb

Eisy IoX 5.7.0 .  I got a couple of these lamps and I can’t get them fully integrated and working in the AC GUI.  I choose “Zigbee/Add a Zigbee Device” to put eisy in Paring mode.  I switch on the lamp and it sees the lamp and starts an Interview.  It adds two nodes to the Network, “On-Off Switch” and “Color Hue-Sat”.  The Property Sheet for either node display the Property Sheet for Color Hue-Sat”.  There are no Actions for On or Off.  I can change the color by selecting a value for Hue and Saturation and pressing “Move To”.  Details as to how these Properties shown on this page interact/work would be nice.  But there is no Button for on and off.  So if I choose the On-Off Switch node and Zigbee/Synchronize/Update with Interview I get an On-Off Switch Property page/sheet for both nodes, Color Hue-Sat and On-Off Switch and now I can turn the light on and off but I can’t get to the properties to change the color.  And Identify just generates a can’t communicate error although it does communicate because the On and Off buttons now accessible do work.  However it does appear to work when using a Program Object to change the Properties.

Maybe this is just a loose nut behind the keyboard but does anyone have any experience/suggestions getting these Sengled lamps to behave like they should in the AC and maybe a crash course on Hue and Saturation and how the different Properties shown on the Color Hue-Sat work/do ?

Thanks,

Grant

Hi Grant @GJ Software Products.

  I don't know how to link to other forum pages, but here's a screenshot of the one where I explained how to use the Color Hue-Sat page. It's the fourth post in this thread:

As for your problem with the 2 nodes always showing the same and them switching back and forth, I can't help you there. I would definitely suggest that you Create A Ticket. Does NOT sound as if you're doing anything wrong.

Curious, despite this problem, are you able to use both nodes in your programs? I use these bulbs extensively in my programs and I always use 2 commands for them, first one sets the Hue-Sat, and a second line turns it on/off.

But ya, I would log a ticket and in the meantime read my post in the pic above to learn the methods.

Good luck - any other questions feel free to ask.

@pkauf

Hi Shawn,

Strangest thing, I let it sit for ~24 hours and now coming back into it the two Property Sheets display accurate, Color Hue-Sat with hue & sat values, and On-Off Switch with your typical on-off values/actions.  Everything seems to work.  I haven’t gone deep into Zigbee, I’m wondering if it had to retrieve a device profile from an external source or maybe build one before the nodes would display correctly in the AC and that’s what took time.  I got one more lamp, maybe I’ll make a video screen-capture of the association process when I install it.

Yes, two commands in a program, one for hue-sat and another for on-off worked/works fine; that’s how I’m doing it too.  Having the AC working is nice as I can now set values statically like sat & On Level and they stick (I hope).

Overall, now past the AC anomaly it looks like these lamps work with eisy and the Matter dongle.

Thanks,

Grant
