Write Updates to device

Hi guys,

I've just switched over to EISY and am still working through the bugs

Theres a million (maybe not that many) WRITE UPDATES TO DEVICE icons beside a lot of the insteon stuff. I've been right clicking and writing updates.

I have two questions

1) Is there a faster way to do this?

2) Sometimes more often than not it still leaves the icon to write updates. Are there more updates or is there a problem writing the updates to the device?

@andrew77 is this for battery devices or wired devices? Are they dual band or wireline devices?

Did you replace the PLM as expected? Since you were having issues prior to migration you could have a corrupt backup and if you replaced the PLM could be causing you issues.

Wired devices as well as battery

I picked a back up from last year in hopes it would not be corrupted

Am i looking at redoing everything or selecting Restore device for everything?

I'm still where I was with what I thought was a bad PLM with my previous ISY.

Scenes arent triggering properly, the GUI doesn't reflect the actual condition of the devices half the time.

I've isolated everything and still cant get it back.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

That being said I realize it's vague at best to troubleshoot this. I've been at it for weeks and replacing the ISY and PLM was my last resort.

I tried to add a SWL that gave me issues and I get this error message. I've not seen that before

When I tried to push the air gap tab in to have the GUI recognize the device I'm trying to link it didn't show up so I typed in the address and got that error

If you haven't, pick a few devices, right click on them one at a time and pick "restore device".

I've tried that. I'm trying again and I'll post back when I have the results
