Eisy Z-Wave migration instructions (from ISY-994) state "You must be using a 500 Series Board in the ISY-994." How do I determine which board I have?

If memory serves me correctly, the original 300 Series Board had a green LED on the board, which was eliminated on the 500 Series Board.  I believe the LED was visible when the board was installed as well.  Here's a photo of the 500 Series Board.

How many z-wave devices are you running? Some have found it easier to reset the z-wave devices than try to migrate them if they have only a few. 

TIP: One thing to make sure to do though is make a copy of all your exiting programs in the ISY994 before you migrate. On the root folder in the program tab right click and near the bottom will be a COPY folder to clipboard (something along those lines). Paste that into a text editor (like Notepad on Windows - NOT Word! - you want to keep the raw text as is). Make sure you use the "COPY" folder option and none of the "export" options. This will allow you to review and perhaps fix any programs that do not migrate properly (it's been known to happen and this step will save you house of fixing broken programs).

Thanks, Geddy and DennisC. Confirmed that I have a 300 series board. So it seems that Z-Wave migration is not possible (please correct me if I'm wrong about this). 

So I guess that means backups and screen shots and lots of notes. I only have about 10 devices, so in general it shouldn't be too bad. One concern is all my parameter configurations. Is there an easy way to compile a full list of those so I don't miss any?

You can upgrade ISY to 500 board and then make the jump to eISY. It’s what I did.

UD no longer offers dongles for ISY. You would need to find someone with one to sell.

Any ideas on how to document all my configuration parameters (other than going through every parameter for each device, one by one)?

When you originally set up your devices, did you customize any of the zwave parameters? If not, then you are using the standard zwave configuration and they should add with the same settings.

If you did customize the parameters I think you will need to document each change.

I did customize, especially thermostat for two stage HVAC and various light switches and dimmers. I just went through them all and documented configuration parameters. Not as painful as I had anticipated. Thanks for your help.
