Amazon Alexa ISY Skill Linking

I don't understand the process of Skill Linking with an ISY.

I have an ISY 994i PRO on which I have set up several scenes. I also have several Amazon Echos. I have set up the ISY in the ISY Portal. Some time ago I set up several Echo Devices which I am able to control by talking to Alexa. I say "Alexa, turn on sun room," and it turns on the sun room lights. I can also tell it to turn off the lights. So this week I created a new scene called "Christmas Lights" which works fine using the IoX Administrative Console. I then have logged on to the ISY Portal and added the scene to the list of Amazon Echo Device List. However, when I do this, I get a warning that the Alexa Skill is not linked. However, I am unable to find out where or how to link the Alexa Skill. If I then tell Alexa to turn on Christmas lights, Alexa gives me an error message. I don't recall having to do this for all of the other scenes I have previously set up in the Portal. I would really appreciate some direction on how to correct things. By the way, I have no idea what version I am using - V2 or V3. I have no idea how to edit or select this.

You don't have to link each one if you added it through portal and your account is linked. Are you up to date with your portal subscription?

Thanks for the reply. I'm not entirely sure what you mean. I created the scene on the ISY using the Administrative Console. I then logged in to my portal account for which the ISY device license is good for another 2 months. And using the Portal Connectivity Tool for Amazon Echo, I added the scene entitled just as it is on the ISY.

Ok. Try taking to the appropriate echo and say "Alexa, discover devices"

Do you have the Alexa app on your phone? You link the skill in the Alexa app. More info from the wiki:

Since other devices work you must have set it up at one point in the past. Depending on how long ago you might have used the older skill that I think wouldn’t work for new devices, but not sure. Since V3 is available now it would be best to be sure you have that skill (again in the mobile Alexa app). Over the past year I think Alexa auto discovers devices, but if not then as @paulbates suggests to ask Alexa to discover devices. 

Note the directions for the skill were written a long time ago so some options or locations in the Alexa mobile app might be different. I don’t use it enough to know what to say w9ld be different so hunt around in the app until you find skills.

Not sure if it's the same as with a eisy, but if in the admin console you go into "Configuration" and then "Portals", do you see portal integration as "online" and "registered"?

Do your existing Alexa controlled scenes still work?

Indeed, in the Administrative Console it says the portal in online and registered. Furthermore, previously existing Alexa scenes work fine.
