Battery Percentage Update Rate

I am not sure how long it is taking to update the battery percentage but my batteries can show 25% but really be at 100% and will update to that if I manually update system data in the Admin Console.  Is there a way to make it update quicker?  Short poll and long poll are 300 and 1800.  Thank you.

Do you leave admin console open 24/7? Typically the data does not refresh if Admin Console is open. If you close and relaunch admin console it might update.

Are the correct percentages shown on the PG3x node levels? If so then it's working as expected.

Admin Console refreshes nodes and data on launch or manual refresh (as you seem to indicate). It's not a "live" system. At least not that I've experienced. Also note that admin console is not designed to be left open 24/7. It's meant to only run when actively changing/programing IoX. Make your changes...close admin console.

I created a variable that is set to the plugin value any time the value is changed.  That variable was not updating.  Would leaving the AC open cause that?

probably shouldn't, but if you leave it open I'd close it.

Again, the question is does the plugin node on the web indicate the proper percentage? If not then the plugin is not talking to the outside system correctly.

From my understanding the plugin is only capturing the data from the 3rd party API then feeding that to IoX. If the PG3x node is not showing the battery percentage correctly then indeed the information being pushed to IoX would be incorrect.

Perhaps @Panda88 has more info/insight as to what's happening. If you confirm PG3x doesn't have the correct data then you'll need to troubleshoot the plugin more.

I leave my admin console open at all times and each of my plugins update at all times.

About once a week, the admin console freezes - it becomes like a jpg on the screen - you can't do anything with it.  So, I close the AC and reopen it.

I have not found the "frozen condition" to have any effect on my ISY.   It keeps on working running programs and updating variables.

The Admin Console/iox is not designed to be left running 24x7. It's the java app on the computer that freezes, not the ISY/eisy. Different users have different experiences with how long the AC/iox runs before freezing.

If it didn't take so long to bring it back up then I would not leave it open.  But for now, I just leave it open until the PC it runs on reboots weekly.  When it locks up are you seeing the icons go to gray?  That is only time I see it lock up and it is most always because the Polisy was rebooted with it up or there was a networking issue.

I forget and leave it open. The main thing I've seen, with both ISY and eisy, on different computers at 2 houses is: clicking the mouse causes the old windows to "blong" sound, with no visual change in the interface. Other times some things will work and some won't... then I remember... 🤪😂

Can you send a log with debug enabled - That way I can see if an error occur preventing the update to happen

Are you running local or cloud?
