ISY994 sporadically turns everything on

Recently I have started having a problem with my ISY994 sporadically turns everything on and opens the garage door. It seems to be triggered by events like a motion sensor turning on a light or a time of day programmed event. Unplugging the ISY several times has not resolved the issue.

Is it time to replace the ISY994? With what?

Thanks,

Sorta sounds like the old Insteon All on event. ISY shouldn't activate devices on it's own.

Plenty of info in the forum and troubleshooting wiki to dig deeper.

If you are looking to update, easy is the most current and only available option.

I've seen mentions of the All On command events, and have experienced one myself. One question comes to mind: since it's a valid Insteon command, is the PLM able to receive and recognize this command? If so, shouldn't IoX give us the capability to look for the reception of an All On command, and allow us to use it as a trigger event, which would allow us to mitigate the effects?

Agreed on it being an "all on". While there's little definitive data, battery devices like motion sensors can be involved... in my experience when the batteries are allowed to die.

If you have a motion sensor where the battery died, or one that seems to be associated with the all on; factory reset it, right click on iox and pick "restore device"
