someguy Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago after following instructions, including updating java, rebooting the Eisy, deleting java data, etc. when I log into the admin console, it comes up and connects. I can see all of my nodes, but the process of the Admin Console starting up gets stuck at "Starting subscription". any suggestions? I have not done a complete power down and reboot (as instruction suggest) because I am not at home for a time. Quote

Mine literally took like 30 min or more with multiple reboots it did on its own. 2. In the future I would not do any upgrades when you are not around unless you have a non-isy switch like a KASA switch to power cycle the unit. 3. Can UD Mobile get into it? Maybe you can use it to reboot or to run upgrade packages again. Edited 14 hours ago by macjeff accidentally posted too early Quote
someguy Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago @macjeff I did the upgrade yesterday so its been 12 hours. the "starting subscription" is still "initializing" and has been doing so for 30 minutes or more. UD mobile seems to know the status of the devices but does not have ability to control any of them. I already tried a reboot of the Eisy from UD mobile and it did reboot but the "starting subscription" persists. Quote
larryllix Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago My v6.0.0 upgrade destroyed my SSD in my Polisy. With the forum down last night and now my PLM not functioning for some parameters I am really stuck. PLM Restore, attempting to restore devices, factory resetting my PLM and starting over doesn't seem to do a complete repair. A new SSD brought some things back up. I am stuck. My WiFi devices seem to function but Insteon devices are pooched. I paid for a new subscription to ISY Portal because my spare Polisys wouldn't connect and I couldn't discover how to port my subscription over to it. Now I have two subscriptions despite it forcing me to open another Paypal account. This thing is a non-functional mess now and still showing v5.9.1. Quote

One thing that needs to be clear is this upgrade can take a LONG time. For me it was almost an hour. Some may be longer or shorter. You have to wait until it comes up as 6.0 (and then delete the java cache) in admin console. That may not be the issue. 33 minutes ago, someguy said: @macjeff I did the upgrade yesterday so its been 12 hours. the "starting subscription" is still "initializing" and has been doing so for 30 minutes or more. Now I just get "You must reboot your system" messages constantly, mixed in with the "Do not reboot your system" Strange that REST inputs to variables and WiFi, PG3 items all seem to function but programs do not trigger or complete. Looks like a re-image SSD is going to happen, again. Quote
dbwarner5 Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Upgrades w/o any problems. AC working as expected, again no problems But how do you access the new UI? Quote

giomania Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Where are the instructions that mention any actions to take post-upgrade. Here is the official upgrade post I saw. Instructions: Backup your Z-Wave if any (Z-Wave | Backup) Backup your IoX (File | Backup IoX) Backup your PG3 Click on Upgrade Packages in Admin Console | Configuration tab. Do NOT use ssh as it will brick your system. Quote

If I go local login I have no issues. Quote

Have you checked this? Slow or Hanging Admin Console: If the console is slow, you may need to allocate more memory to the Java runtime. You can do this by opening the Java Control Panel, going to the Java tab, and adding or modifying the -Xmx runtime parameter, for example, to -Xmx512m to set the maximum memory to 512MB Quote
MLoSapio01 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Will try it but this is what I see as of now... a socket error and then this infinite waiting game Quote
