April 4Apr 4 it has been more than a few years since I upgraded ISY to its current version is 5.0.16C. Ihelp-> about show that it is ISY 994i (1120)is there a newer firmware that I could use?if so, where do I download it?thanks for any help.
April 4Apr 4 UDI announced that the 994 series was end-of-life almost 3 years ago. If there is newer software, I believe one of the Help drop down menu items would indicate you could upgrade it.
April 4Apr 4 5.3.4 was the last ISY994i firmware. If you have a Z wave card. Depending on which version you have. Series 300 or 500. 5.3.4 was only for series 500.

I do not have the option to download latest firmware as I am not connecting ISY to the internet. Unless there is a manual download and upgrade option I do not see how can I upgrade it.
April 6Apr 6 @iglon do you have z-wave in your ISY994? If not then you can upgrade to the version @Brian H mentioned above (5.3.4). If you have and are using z-wave then which board do you have? See this post from @lilyoyo1 from a few years ago: https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/29371-zwave-tips-and-tricks/Specifically:DO NOT UPGRADE YOUR ISY PAST 5.0.16C IF YOU HAVE THE 300 BOARD!!! YOU WILL RUIN YOUR SYSTEM!!! If you are not certain which one you have....ASK!!! Its much easier to avoid issues than it is to fix issues simply by asking and verifying. The immediate physical differences between the 2 boards is that the 300 series card has a blue light in the back of the isy while the 500 does not.You don't need to have the ISY994 connected to the internet to update, but it does need to be connected to your network. If you want to update to 5.3.4 (and you don't have z-wave or have the 500 series board) you can get the update from the current release section of the forums: https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/33287-534-isy994-last-release-for-isy994/ Be sure that you read the post and take precautions to make the backup before you attempt to update. My question would be that since you had updated to incremental point in the 5.x line for the ISY994 more than likely you didn't update again after because you might have a series 300 z-wave board and thus cannot update further. Since there is no support offered by UD and very limited support on the forums related to updates of unsupported hardware you would risk being on your own for any issues you stumble into if you do update. You might be at the point of it it isn't broke don't fix it. Are you having issues that you think an update would resolve issues?

I'm trying to restore my 994i because the SD card appears to be shot. I've installed a new card but the only option is to do a manual upgrade. Does anyone know where you can actually get the 5.3.4 zip file????

Yesterday at 06:27 PM1 day @sorka as @Guy Lavoie says it is in the link I posted earlier. Just be sure not to unzip the file! If you’re on macOS sometimes it will automatically unpack the zip file so be sure you do NOT allow that if on macOS. Download firmware - ISY 994i Series including Z-Wave support - ISY 994i ZW, Z, or ZS Series (Z-Wave/Zigbee and/or if you do NOT have a PLM)
Yesterday at 06:35 PM1 day Thanks. Got it. The only way to upgrade was to open "OpenADR Console" rather than admin console. That just refused to open but I assume that makes sense since there's no firmware on it. Under the ADR console, I found the manual upgrade option. That worked but I kept getting written size mismatch errors at 82% when trying to do a restore. So now I'm trying another card. if this works, I'll just need to buy a fresh 16GB card since all the cards that small that I have are really old.
