How do I get a UDM favorite to update its state variable in real time. Currently it seems to update primarily when I open the favorite dashboard.

It appears that the first time I open UDM the state variables are correct, Later when I close and then open UDM the variables are still at the original settings when I first opened UDM

This is from memory so you may need to do some looking around. I believe if you go to Settings-Controllers and scroll down after selecting your controller (if you have more than one), you should see Programs and Variables. I believe I recall there being a setting there.

I had looked at that setting a few days ago and it was enabled. I'm thinking it may be a bug in UDM

Nothing has changed in years so please check again. If issue persists is this Android or iOS?

I checked again and UDM variables option is checked in UDM. It's on an Android

Could it be something in an Android recent system update that's interfering with the UDM updates. Other than the state variables not updating UDM is working fine.

The state variables show correctly when I first open UDM. When I close and then open UDM later in the day the variables have not updated. If I open the device dashboard in UDM the variables will update.

Maybe try restarting both phone and your UD device. Not sure if it would help, but I would also synchronize UD Mobile.

I tested and cannot replicate. With setting off, no status at startup, with setting on status is shown at startup.

Before any other debugging options, I recommend restarting both the phone and eisy. We have no other reports of this being an issue, so not sure of any possible causes.

I had previously rebooted both. I'll keep an eye on it for the next few days. Thanks

It appears that the the State variable value in the UDM node tree is always correct. The State variable value in the device dashboard seems to only update when I click on it which in turn updates the Favorite.

I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling UDM, it didn't resolve the problem

Please show the favorite edit page, we cannot replicate.

This is the favorite for Office temperature. I'm displaying the variable not the node, could that be the issue?
