snownh2o2 Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 I am not finding a feature to invert the camera image. Some of my cameras are mounted upside down. Am I just missing it or is this feature not yet availible? I am using foscam equivalents made by lonestar. I have both indoor and outdoor versions. Thanks, Matt
InsteonNut Posted May 21, 2012 Author Posted May 21, 2012 Hi Matt, This is not yet supported but is planned for a future update to the plug-in. Wes
easyaccess Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 I am still considering which app to use. Just curious how much the camera plub-in would cost? It seems ISY does not support camera. How mobilinc would connect to the IP camera through internet? through router directly? Thanks.
InsteonNut Posted May 23, 2012 Author Posted May 23, 2012 Hi easyaccess, The IP Camera plug-in is currently $4.99 USD. MobiLinc connects to your IP Camera directly through the internet. For remote access please see this post on how to configure your router: http://forum.mobileintegratedsolutions.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=2423 Wes
InsteonNut Posted June 1, 2012 Author Posted June 1, 2012 Hi dss, I'm sorry, but we do not have an ETA on the Android version. Wes
scotcarter Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 Does the IP cam module support audio from the cameras? I can hear my webcams using IE but don't hear anything using Mobilinc. Just wondering. If it doesn't will it in the future?
biredale Posted June 6, 2012 Posted June 6, 2012 I vote for vertical image flipping for upside down mounted cameras too! Brian
InsteonNut Posted June 6, 2012 Author Posted June 6, 2012 Hi scotcarter, Currently no, the plug-in does not support audio. We are looking into supporting this feature in a future release. Hi biredale, We've submitted an update to the App Store that includes image and control flipping/mirroring. We are expecting approval later this week. Hang in there, it's coming. Wes
scotcarter Posted June 10, 2012 Posted June 10, 2012 Another question. I am looking at getting a standalone camera system like my uncles. He has a Q-See dvr with 8 cameras that is network capable. Actually Q-See has an app that is free that i can use to see his cams. I tried every camera type available but none would work. Can you use the Q-See app QT version to add those cameras into your cam module?
InsteonNut Posted June 11, 2012 Author Posted June 11, 2012 Hi Scotcarter, The Q-See DVR is an H.264 video stream. The current release of the IP Camera plug-in does not support H.264 yet. We are working on an upgrade to support H.264 and RTSP video streams. With this update, the Q-See cameras should be supported. Wes
junkycosmos Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 hi Wes, As I noted in review of MobiLinc on Apple's site your recent upgrade to include cameras is fantastic! It is working very well with all of my Panasonic network cams. I am amazed at the picture update speed too. Honestly faster than other dedicated camera viewing programs! Small request for sometime in future versions: do you have option for sound or relay control (such as cams BB-HCM715 or BL-230 have) on your camera feature road map? Regardless thanks again for your continued support and updates to your great software! thx J
InsteonNut Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 Thanks J! Currently we have sound on our "to-do" list. Foscam sound will be supported first with others to follow with the sound update. Relay control is a possibility. We're evaluating how deep we can afford to go in supporting all the different camera features. We are looking at supporting zoom and presets with sound as well as H.264 video via RTSP. Wes
V3100 Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Another vote here for an Android version of the camera plug-in.
Winger Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I am with you as well on IP Camera support for Android, using Blue Iris on my Nexus 4 but would like to have my cams on Mobilinc .
DennisC Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 I will add a vote for IP camera support in Android MobiLinc. I will also throw one out for adding Elk support.
toflaherty Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Another vote for Android. Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk
robertarak Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Oh, are we voting now? I would like to stuff the ballot box with yes votes!
toflaherty Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Maybe we should set up an actual vote thread. Our we should all email wes expressing or interest. Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk
bgalbraith Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Another vote here for Android. IOS seems to be doing it all (IP cameras via Mobilinc, easy geo fencing, etc.) Not fair!
tibbar Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I think that two versions iOS and android should have a different name because of differences between two.
