  1. Hi alx9r, Thanks so very much for your contribution. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi austin_john, Not really magic but we are just trying to avoid conflict with other known ports. 1443 is OK as well but I do recommend higher numbers. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi MstrD, Unfortunately this feature is only available in Venstar firmware 2.4 and above. I am sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi hbsh01, Normally, I don't mind giving an ETA but it seems that most of our estimates, even though accurate, are completely dictated by external things of which we are not in control. A case in point is I2CS which basically put us back for about 5 months trying to address a variety of issues and anomalies. I can tell you that it's planned for the release cycle following the end of the current INSTEON project. I am so very sorry I cannot be more specific. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello hbsh01, Yes, indeed planned. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello Mr. Alston, It's on the our list of todos for this release cycle ... once we have a stable beta, then we'll incorporate the changes. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi mitch236, This program is being repeated (in a loop): Scene:Outdoor / Front Yard / Outdoor Front Off 0 Tue 2012/09/11 06:39:12 PM Program Log What you need to do is to go to the Programs tab and use Find/Replace to find all occurrences of Scene:Outdoor / Front Yard / Outdoor Front in the Action section. In all likelihood, one of those programs is causing a loop. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello apostolakisl, Stupid question: are you certain that ISY agreed with your assertion that the status was "ON" (or anything but off)? i.e. what was the status of that device in the Admin Console? With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello tunaman, It "became" a known issue after you reported it and we verified it as a bug. It's already been fixed and shall be in our next code drop hopefully by the weekend. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Thanks. Please contact our tech support team and we'll help you out. Links below. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Did you install the 64 bit version of Java? If all else fails, please do be kind enough to contact our tech support team so that we can have it taken care of. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Excellent and thanks so very much for the update. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi mdyod, Please note that due to some Java security issues, some browsers (especially IE) may have deactivated Java altogether. Can you make sure Java is still enabled in your browser? Does this happen on all browsers? What's your Java version? With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Xathros, RunAtStartup will evaluate to TRUE if there are no If conditions. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi Xathros, Have you configured HTTPS with other protocols such as TLS? If so, you MUST make sure that: a. You have Java 7 b. You have the latest UI (Help | About) TLS protocol is only supported fully in Java 1.7 (unfortunately). Just to test, please use Chrome and go to https://your.isy.ip.address, click on proceed, and then click on the lock icon next to the URL. Please send the screenshot to support@universal-devices.com. Hi tunaman/LeeG, verified that this is indeed a bug. Hi hbsh01, yes, TempLinc is a SmartHome labeled (not Venstar) thermostat. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello mdyod, What URL do you use to access ISY? Please try the following and let me know if you still have the same issue: http://www.universal-devices.com/99i//admin.jnlp Replace with: - Nothing if you are on 3.2.6 (i.e. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp) - Firmware version otherwise (i.e. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.1/admin.jnlp) With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi pitbull5.0, My pleasure! Please keep us posted with your progress. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello daxiang28, My recommendation is to upgrade to 3.3.1 ... even though we have tested this multiple times and it always works, it would be best to work based on the same reference. 3.2.6 did have a bug where some variables would've been blanked out; this said, this bug was not ELK related. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi WhiteSax, Thanks so very much for the suggestion ... we thought it might cause a little confusion for the novice. But, you are correct ... With kind regards, Michel
  20. Go into the settings and then the Web antivirus part. Click the settings under security level and then go to the trusted URLs tab add the URL/IP for the ISY and you should be okay. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Thank again WhiteSax! With kind regards, Michel
  22. What is your firewall software? With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello all, I am happy to announce the availability of our 3.3.1 (Beta) release! For a list of changes, please take a look at this post. This is a major release with many changes to the underlying INSTEON engine as well as HTTPS (for 994) and, as such, please do be kind enough to report any anomalies. Know Issues - REGRESSION: Cannot add multiple buttons from the same KPL in the same scene Things to test: - IOLinc options - FanLinc options - TempLinc/Thermostats - I2CS MorningLinc - ELK at startup - HTML emails 994 - SSL/HTTPS Important Information 1. Important Brultech module is no longer supported on ISY99 Series. Please contact sales@universal-devices.com for options 2. Important If you have a 994, you will need to re-install a certificate. Please review ISY994 Series Advanced Network Security Configuration for more information. 3. Important We have removed SSLv2 support (very insecure) from ISY994. Unfortunately, the only protocol supported by MAC with Java 1.6 is SSLv2. As such, you MUST upgrade your MAC to Java 1.7 (Software Update) 4. Please note that Safari does not support SSL session reuse and thus might take an exorbitant amount of time to communicate with ISY. As such, when using 2048 bit SSL, it's best not to use Safari. 5. If you are using the Irrigation Module and are upgrading from releases prior to 3.1.5, you must edit the programs using Irrigation variables and save the programs again. Irrigation module is no longer on promotion 6. Upgrading from 3.1.3 and below: If you are using WeatherBug Module's Rain Today in your programs, please note that the precision has changed from 1/10 to 1/100 and thus your programs might not run properly 7. For a discussion of variables, please look at our Program Variables forum. Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 99i Series ISY 994i Series 3. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 4. Choose the file saved in step 2 5. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache 6. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet --- Security Warning: Due to recent Java security problems, it's best to always use method #d b. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application c. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.1 - applet --- Security Warning: Due to recent Java security problems, it's best to always use method #d d. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.1/admin.jnlp - Java application Best method to access Admin Console Dashboard - not fully supported - http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3. ... board.jnlp 8. Please backup your system again Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
