  1. Hi Paul, Thanks so very much for the logs/event viewer. The problem is this: ISY expects two messages for every time we query the zone. The thermostat is returning the wrong message type. We are going to follow up with SmartHome and figure out in what version did this start happening (we still cannot reproduce in our 2.2 dongles). I shall keep you posted. Thanks again and with kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi fasttimes, Unfortunately not. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi GregE, Would you be kind enough to send an email to support@universal-devices.com? With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Paul, Thanks so very much for the detailed explanations. I do not think it would be practical to leave event viewer on since the problem happens randomly. Can you always reproduce this problem by: We have not been able to reproduce. Perhaps we can make the duration shorter and see what happens. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi hart2hart, Thank you. Are you absolutely certain that you never send All on/All off to your ISY? Also, did you - at any time in the past - ever have this thermostat as part of a scene. Have not been able to reproduce yet. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi LeeG, thanks so very much for all the help. Hi glase, I really do think that you should setup a remote session with our tech support so that we can figure out what's going on. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello glase, I am so very sorry to hear about all these problems that you have been having. The fact that Internet Access shows an IP address tells me that you used File | Enable Internet Access IN ADDITION to creating port forwarding rules in your router. Basically, File | Enable Internet Access tries to automatically create port forwarding rules in your router; the problem with this approach is that if your router reboots, or if you get a new IP address then the rules are invalidated. As such, the best method is to create port forwarding rules manually in your router AND, before doing so, please go to File | Disable Internet Access (either automatic or manual and NOT both). With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello hart2hart, Thanks so very much. I think we now have enough information to try and reproduce. Shall keep you posted. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello raderu, Please do be kind enough to call our tech support to schedule a remote session. We'll walk you through the setup. As far as MAC address, you must look for "DHCP Reservation" for your router. With kind regards, Michel

  16. Hi zyll, I am so very sorry to hear. There are a few cases where this could happen. Just to save you more frustration, I think it would be best to contact our support team so that we can figure out what's going on. In the meantime, please make sure: 1. You have version 3.2.6 installed -- a. Help | About -- b. http://your.isy.ip.address/rest/config 2. Check the number of links you have in your PLM With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Paul, got your log ... will review shortly. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Xathros, For some reason the validation routine does not work with GMT -5 and 40/80 lat/long. This might be something wrong with our validation routine but it's pretty basic. It only works with Central Time ( GMT -6). With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi jmed999, Please do make sure that you have the correct DNS settings under Configuration Tab | Network Settings. If you have configured your ISY with a static IP address, you might want to try DHCP or DHCP reservation since, some routers, do not allow DNS queries through if the IP is not assigned by them. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Unfortunately not for INSTEON traffic since the system becomes quite slow. With kind regards, Michel

Hi ekuzmack, Yes, there is. Please do be kind enough to check our store front. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello jmed999, Unfortunately that information is not available through INSTEON APIs. I do not understand the second question! With kind regards, Michel
  23. Thanks Xathros. The problem is that ISY validates the longitude against the timezone. I suspect you are in Central Time so, you must use -6 for Timezone offset BEFORE trying to set the longitude. Also, in ISY, longitudes are positive. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi hart2hart, I really have no explanations and trying to figure out how to reproduce to make sure it's not a bug in our firmware. I have tried every possible permutation and the only time I get crazy values is if the thermostat is in a scene (yours are not). I am quite concerned that that thermostat is sending bogus values. Any help/pointers would be extremely appreciated. With kind regards, Michel
