  1. Hi mydod, INSTEON thermostats are compatible with ISY. If you have 994iZ, then RCS TZ45s are also compatible. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi mydod, ISY does not support ZWave (yet). With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Exten, What happens if you put two lines in between the two? We have had this issue with another ISP in Canada and unfortunately we couldn't find a workaround. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello firebladeRR1k, Yes, absolutely. It just requires a lot of noise from our customers! With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello firebladeRR1k, This requirement has been on our plate for a long while now. The main issue is that, due to its low priority, it keeps going to the bottom of the list. In short, it's something we will have to do but I just don't have an ETA. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello jareed101, Electricity configuration tab is moved to 994 series and it's only use are for the following (none related to iMeter): 1. Smart Meter communications in case of 994iZS 2. Communications with Brultech meters 3. Open ADR which is only used for commercial sites With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello hbsh01, Hopefully in the next drop. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Xathros, The only problem I see is the likelihood for infinite loop. This said, you should give it a try and let us know as well! And, I though I was the only one talking to myself!!! With kind regards, Michel

Hi smontclair, In addition to quite important question from Brian H, if your ISY was setup with a static IP address then, in all likelihood, after the reboot of the router some other device got that IP and thus you have an IP conflict. If you have a good backup, the best thing to do would be to factory reset ISY (http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... ur_ISY-99i). This will put ISY back on DHCP. When you can connect to your ISY again and when you are restoring your backup, you will be presented with a dialog for Network Configuration. Please make sure you do NOT let ISY restore the network configuration from the backup. Also, if your backup is from 3.1.6, in all likelihood it's corrupted. Please do make sure you have a good backup. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Paul, Thank you and quite a valid theory. It appears that the bug was in our code and it has already been fixed in the next code drop. Thanks again for all your input and especially the logs as they were quite invaluable in helping us find the root cause. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Paul, Thanks so very much for the logs/event viewer. The problem is this: ISY expects two messages for every time we query the zone. The thermostat is returning the wrong message type. We are going to follow up with SmartHome and figure out in what version did this start happening (we still cannot reproduce in our 2.2 dongles). I shall keep you posted. Thanks again and with kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi fasttimes, Unfortunately not. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi GregE, Would you be kind enough to send an email to support@universal-devices.com? With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Paul, Thanks so very much for the detailed explanations. I do not think it would be practical to leave event viewer on since the problem happens randomly. Can you always reproduce this problem by: We have not been able to reproduce. Perhaps we can make the duration shorter and see what happens. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi hart2hart, Thank you. Are you absolutely certain that you never send All on/All off to your ISY? Also, did you - at any time in the past - ever have this thermostat as part of a scene. Have not been able to reproduce yet. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi LeeG, thanks so very much for all the help. Hi glase, I really do think that you should setup a remote session with our tech support so that we can figure out what's going on. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello glase, I am so very sorry to hear about all these problems that you have been having. The fact that Internet Access shows an IP address tells me that you used File | Enable Internet Access IN ADDITION to creating port forwarding rules in your router. Basically, File | Enable Internet Access tries to automatically create port forwarding rules in your router; the problem with this approach is that if your router reboots, or if you get a new IP address then the rules are invalidated. As such, the best method is to create port forwarding rules manually in your router AND, before doing so, please go to File | Disable Internet Access (either automatic or manual and NOT both). With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello hart2hart, Thanks so very much. I think we now have enough information to try and reproduce. Shall keep you posted. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello raderu, Please do be kind enough to call our tech support to schedule a remote session. We'll walk you through the setup. As far as MAC address, you must look for "DHCP Reservation" for your router. With kind regards, Michel

Go to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp .... this will install an icon on your desktop which you can use later on without the need for a browser 2 Click on the Add button on the Finder and then enter https://your.isy.ip.address With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi nowandthen, Umm, we have never ever had a 993 ... whatever it is, we do not have any firmware for it and it is not supported. With kind regards, Michel
