  1. Hello hart2hart, Program entries indicate that a program performed the action. The system entries are those that the thermostat responds with after the command (or those that the thermostat/other devices send on their own). So, the entries are correct: the program changed the set point and the thermostat confirmed the change. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hello hart2hart, Sincere apologies for tardy reply. The first thing that sticks out is: Mon 2012/07/23 09:17:30 AM System -170001 [TCP-Conn] -1/-140002, Net Module Rule: 5 Mon 2012/07/23 09:19:53 AM System -170001 [TCP-Conn] -1/-140002, Net Module Rule: 4 Mon 2012/07/23 09:22:30 AM System -170001 [TCP-Conn] -1/-140002, Net Module Rule: 6 Mon 2012/07/23 10:19:53 AM System -170001 [TCP-Conn] -1/-140002, Net Module Rule: 4 Mon 2012/07/23 11:19:53 AM System -170001 [TCP-Conn] -1/-140002, Net Module Rule: 4 Mon 2012/07/23 12:19:53 PM System -170001 [TCP-Conn] -1/-140002, Net Module Rule: 4 Mon 2012/07/23 01:19:53 PM System -170001 [TCP-Conn] -1/-140002, Net Module Rule: 4 If you look at ISY error codes (http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... r_Messages), -140002 signifies connection timeout. This means that ISY tried connecting to something on the network and it failed. My main question is whether or not you have any type of firewall software on your PC which may be blocking ISY from connecting to it? With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello raderu, I am so very sorry to hear. Please contact our support team (links below) and schedule a remote session. We'll log into your computer and try to figure out what's going on. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi zyll, This is called the batch mode. This means that you can make changes to all your scenes/devices without having to wait for ISY to program each every time. ISY will batch up all your settings/requests and then programs all devices all at once. When this happens next time, would you be kind enough to take a screenshot and send to support@universal-devices.com. In short, IGD messages should not happen unless a) you have done File | Enable Internet Access AND ISY was not able to communicate with your router With kind regards, Michel
  5. Teken, Perhaps minimal support. Is yours running on battery or power supply? With kind regards, Michel
  6. Unfortunately not. With kind regards, Michel

Hello jmed999, It all depends on what product you have and what modules are installed. At a high level, you can configure ISY to communicate with Brultech Energy Monitors as well as our soon to be released energy monitor. If you have a Zigbee version, the communications will be over Zigbee. If your utility allows you to communicate with your Smart Grid meter, and if you have 994i ZS then you can see consumption data from your utility meter. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi jmed999, You need two things: 1. You need to make sure that the IP address of ISY (or dynamic dns host name) is the one on the certificate 2. You need to get a certificate from a Certificate Authority With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello jmed999, Are you referring to the Admin Console or the web page? If Admin Console, unfortunately not. If web page, then you can have your browser save the userid/password. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Teken, Unfortunately not ... With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello automateit, Are you referring to: Wed 2012/04/18 08:56:39 AM System -170001 [sLF] FileOpen Failed: /CONF/ELK.CNF Wed 2012/04/18 08:56:39 AM System -170001 [sLF] FileOpen Failed: /CONF/ELK.CNF If so, then this is NOT ISY attempting to communicate with ELK. This is a benign error when you go to the configuration screen and ISY cannot find an ELK configuration. You can ignore it. If this is not the case, then would you please let me know what makes you think ISY is trying to communicate with ELK? With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello mmknox, 22 means deleted (logically). Once you do a restore device, 22 records will be removed permanently. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello jesse.clauson, I am so very sorry for missing your post. This is a little troubling. Are you saying that the programs used to run even before backup/restore? The only thing I can think of was one of our beta releases (I think it was 3.2.4 or 3.2.5) had this problem in the Admin Console. Can you make sure that your UI version is 3.2.6 (Help | About)? With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi, Yes. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi Brian H, We will have to take a look since we have never tested with a Viewer only; always with Full Excel ... so, that might explain the problem. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello raderu, I am so very sorry to hear about the problems you are having. Do you get any type of error dialog? Or, is it only the case that you do NOT see any status updates in the Admin Console? If you have firewall software installed on your computer, please try the following: 1. Go to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp ... This should install an icon on your desktop 2. When Admin Console comes up, minimize it 3. Click on the Add button 4. Use the IP address for your ISY in https://your.isy.ip.address … or you could try https://isy (this only works on Windows) With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello rossarmstrong, I thought Davis weather station had the capability of sending information directly to weatherbug. How does your computer communicate with the weather station? With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello BrianH, 97 is certainly old ... but I thought you were using 2007? No? With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello Brian H, When the spreadsheet comes up, in the middle of the screen there's button labeled Enable Macros. You will not see anything unless you Enable Macros. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello Davonavo, As BrianH pointed out, the macros do not work with Excel 2003 (unfortunately). With kind regards, Michel

Hi Tom C., thanks so very much for the details. Have you used HTTPS? Hi inline, thank you! With kind regards, Michel
  22. Michel Kohanim replied to a post in a topic in ISY994
Hello Tom C. and PLC_guy, Perhaps a little explanation of how ISY works can help you (and us) figure out the best way to solve this issue. This is the flow: 1. When you login, ISY authenticates your userid/password 2. If successful, then the Admin Console sends a subscription request to ISY letting it know that it wants to listen to events ON THE SAME SOCKET (we had to do this since most firewalls do NOT allow a server service to be running) 3. ISY then a) sends a confirmation back and sends the status of all devices on the same socket Some firewall software basically do NOT like conversational sockets and therefore they will block (3b) and thus the reason you do not see any status. And, in most cases, the same firewall software do not mind conversational sockets in the case of HTTPS (they assume that session reuse is going to be used). So, my first suggestion is to try with HTTPS: 1. Go to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp ... This should install an icon on your desktop 2. When Admin Console comes up, minimize it 3. Click on the Add button 4. Use the IP address for your ISY in https://your.isy.ip.address … or you could try https://isy (this only works on Windows) If this works, then my hypothesis above is correct. If this does not work, then I would appreciate all the help/pointers/wireshark/etc. you can share with us so that we can find a resolution. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello tracknut, ISY is not title 24 EMCS device. This said, however, all 994 Series: 1. Are equipped with Flex Alert capabilities 2. Are equipped with Open ADR 1.0/2.0 capabilities 3. Can use Brultech Energy Monitor information to control your devices over Ethernet 994i Z series, add Zigbee capabilities so that you can have multiple Brultech meters and also support Zigbee RCS thermostats which are Open ADR enabled (you can see the status of Open ADR events on the thermostat). ISY994i ZS series is a certified SEP implementation which allows you to communicate with your Smart Grid utility meter. Currently on back order till 08/01/2012. Please note that you can either have the Z series OR ZS series (not both). With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi Tim, Unfortunately we have not had time to support GH mostly because of lack of demand and thus it became a low priority. I am so very sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi zyll, First of all, please go to File | Disable Internet Access so that you won't see those UPnP messages. If this is a KPL 40, we have had 3 reports of this specific problem. If you have another KPL to try, that would be the best thing. Otherwise, I think it's the KPL itself. With kind regards, Michel
