  1. Hi WGKirby, Excellent and I am so very sorry for the inconvenience. Yes, please follow the instructions here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=9612 With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi RLIKWARTZ, Thank you. Can you please: 1. Send me your error log (support@universal-devices.com) 2. Let me know if your ISY is setup with DHCP, DHCP with Reservation, OR static? With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello everyone, Was this ISY recently upgraded to 3.2.6 and especially via auto upgrade? If so, it's possible that in Help | About you will see 3.2.6 even though the firmware is not 3.2.6. This can only happen if you upgraded from a previous release to 3.2.6. This is NOT the case if this is a new ISY that came with 3.2.6. The best test would be to: 1. Telnet to ISY 2. Login, and at the prompt, type: VE With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi pounce, We'll miss you With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi RLIKWARTZ, When you click on File menu, do you see Enable Internet Access or Disable Internet Access? With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Andy, You should be able to put 2491 as responder in scenes. Does it not work? Hi RLIKWARTZ, Can you tell me whether or not your E4500 has the latest firmware? I know for a fact that older firmware have a problem negotiating down to 100 Mbps. Also, what activities are you doing when the Admin Console is up? With kind regards, Michel
  7. flemingmike, If you are on 3.3.3, have removed and added back your thermostat in 3.3.3, and still do not get any status, then only two things could be contributing: 1. The thermostat is defective 2. You have too many links in the PLM ... for this, you can go to Tools | Diagnostics | Show PLM Links Table, click on Start button, wait till it's complete, and then click on the Count button. Anything above 800 is problematic. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi GuitarBuiler, We got an RFI from PG&E for SEP1.1 gateway but had to turn it down simply because it required us to purchase a developer kit from Silver Spring, test against it, before even being able to submit (even though ISY994i ZS is already SEP certified). This said, the base SEP functionality should work with PG&E meters Definitely capable and even designed for flexibility so that you can use different price per tier and your programs will only get activated if you are in that tier. I agree with you. You can configure 994i ZS for as granular polling interval as you want to get. This said, most meters advise against anything less than 10 seconds. These are all already supported in ISY. The main question is whether or not they will be available from the Utility side. Furthermore, I do not think you have seen OpenADR 2.0a specs; it's much more elaborate than 1.0 and it does include schedules, prices, and modes. ISY994i Z series is also certified for OpenADR 2.0a. I think you should take a look at our website and images for each model: http://sales.universal-devices.com/ With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi pounce, Most utilities do exactly as you describe for getting hourly data. There is an initiative by DOE called Green Button the sole purpose of which is to enable customers to download historical data from a website. Of course, having real time data is certainly much more accurate especially when it comes to ISY and specifically if they also send price information. In this scenario, you can configure ISY to do different things based on your current tier, price, and basically every other condition that you can already use in ISY programs. Pretty powerful! Perhaps you should move to CA ! With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi Andy, We will look into folders. Are you referring to 2441 or 2491 (Venstar)? I was referring to 2441. With 2491, the main node can be a controller in ONE scene only. With 2441, the main node cannot be part of any scenes. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi accurate8, I do not think the problems you are experiencing are the same as others. I think the problem with your setup is that perhaps you have a load connected to the load controller that causes major noise and thus kills all INSTEON signals. What you might want to do is to remove the load and see if things improve. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Andy, Can you use Add to Folder on "any" folder? Even to those that you could not drag/drop to? You should NOT be able to do that. That configuration is not supported
  13. Hi pounce, We have definitely tested with Sensus meters. I suggest filling out Smart Grid form they have at the bottom of this link: http://www.georgiapower.com/residential ... art-meter/ We do not have very many installed but I know our sales is increasing rapidly. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi pounce, Theoretically, it should be. This said, you will have to contact the HAN department at Georgia Power. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi RLIKWARTZ, Thanks so very much. Questions: 1. You never have this problem with 3.3.2? 2. Do you have DirecTV? With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello WGKirby, The first thing I recommend is doing a Scene Test on your scenes that do not work (Right mouse click on the scene | Diagnostics | Scene Test). With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hello AIX, I am so very sorry ... I meant: You should have NO nodes for humidity (not two). With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello KSaccullo, Thanks so very much for taking the time and not only emailing the screenshots to us but also posting them. Indeed appreciated. Thanks to your input, we found the bug and it's fixed in 3.3.4. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hi raydoc, Do you have any firewall software on your W7? With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello RLIKWARTZ, Thanks so very much. Is your thermostat part of any scenes? We tried it on 3 different thermostats with varying firmware releases and on both 99 and 994 but could not reproduce the problem. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi RLIKWARTZ, Thanks so very much. Can you tell me what's the model number/firmware version of your thermostat? With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi Stephan, Unfortunately no. But, you can use the Random feature in Wait and Repeat to give your system a lived in look. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello RLIKWARTZ, I do not think it was the 3.3.2 re-install that help but the fact that ISY rebooted after the re-install. What I suspect is that ISY was quite busy trying to restore and subsequent attempts basically could not connect because all tasks were busy. Please note that you can restore one device at a time. As you can see from the list of changes between 3.3.2 and 3.3.3, this is a minor release and with zero impact to underlying restore/web functionality. As a test, would you be kind enough to install 3.3.3, try a restore on one of your devices for which you had a problem with? If you so choose to do so, please use Event Viewer on Level 3 and save its contents afterwards. If it still fails, please do send us the contents to support@universal-devices.com. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello GregE, Nothing has changed. You should be able to access ISY the same way as before. Can you access your ISY via HTTPS but locally on your own network? Hello KSaccullo, Would you be kind enough to send the following screenshots to support@universal-devices.com: 1. Help | About 2. The instances which are described above Thanks in advance and with kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello AIX, You should have two nodes for humidity. Hi sanders2222, Please make sure you are using the correct UI (Help | About). The rest of errors point to heavy file system activity. Is it possible to send me your error log? Also, please try File | Disable Internet Access (that is if it's already enabled). Do you have any other clients subscribed to ISY? Are you using http or https? With kind regards, Michel
