  1. Hi Guys, As far as I remember, V3 was never posted after we introduced the Irrigation Module. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi tedbusen, Thank you. Do you know if ISY's IP address changed after the upgrade? If so - and in combination with ESET/NOD32 - it's quite possible that the new IP address for ISY is not configured in your ESET. Alternatively, please try accessing ISY using httpS. If this fixes the issues, then the problem is related to your firewall. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Jason, They should be. Can you tell me what error you are getting? Can you please make sure you follow the instructions here: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... Thermostat Please note that if you have older version of INSTEON dongle/firmware, you might have to upgrade for full features. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Mark, There are two problems: 1. There are major network issues especially those involving DNS resolution 2. I think your file system is getting corrupted Above two have nothing to do with one another. My recommendation: 1. If your ISY is setup with a static IP address, I strongly recommend going back to DHCP 2. Take a good backup and then upgrade to 3.3.6 With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello all, I am happy to announce the availability of our 3.3.6 (RC3) release! For a list of changes, please take a look at this post. This is a minor release and hopefully one which will become our official release. Know Issues - None Things to test: - SSL Communications with ELK which requires ISY994 PRO Series (Configuration instructions) - File | Themes - Accessibility using Alt key and keyboard accelerators - Outdoor On/Off Module 2634_222 - SwitchLinc Dimmer 2478D Important Information 1. Important Brultech module is no longer supported on ISY99 Series. Please contact sales@universal-devices.com for options 2. Important NetBios removed from ISY99 Series. You can no longer access ISY by going to http://isy on Windows 3. Important If you have a 994, you will need to re-install a certificate. Please review ISY994 Series Advanced Network Security Configuration for more information. 4. Important We have removed SSLv2 support (very insecure) from ISY99/ISY994. Unfortunately, the only protocol supported by MAC with Java 1.6 is SSLv2. As such, you MUST upgrade your MAC to Java 1.7 (Software Update) 4. Please note that Safari does not support SSL session reuse and thus might take an exorbitant amount of time to communicate with ISY. As such, when using 2048 bit SSL, it's best not to use Safari. 5. If you are using the Irrigation Module and are upgrading from releases prior to 3.1.5, you must edit the programs using Irrigation variables and save the programs again. Irrigation module is no longer on promotion 6. Upgrading from 3.1.3 and below: If you are using WeatherBug Module's Rain Today in your programs, please note that the precision has changed from 1/10 to 1/100 and thus your programs might not run properly 7. For a discussion of variables, please look at our Program Variables forum. Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 99i Series ISY 994i Series 3. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 4. Choose the file saved in step 2 5. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache 6. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet --- Security Warning: Due to recent Java security problems, it's best to always use method #d b. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application c. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.6 - applet --- Security Warning: Due to recent Java security problems, it's best to always use method #d d. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.6/admin.jnlp - Java application Best method to access Admin Console Dashboard - http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3. ... board.jnlp 8. Please backup your system again Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello tedbusen, Can you please tell me what is your operating system and Java version. If you have a MAC or Java 1.6 some of these issues might be explained. Also, if you have a firewall software, that might also explain some of these issues. Also, please note that any operations that eventually has to deal with INSTEON is queued so, if you do multiple scene tests simultaneously or do other INSTEON things at the same time, at some point you will exhaust ISY's HTTP tasks. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Mr. Allen, thanks so very much. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi stillen_i30, Which thermostats? SmartHome's or Venstar's? I'm relatively confident that the Venstar's should work properly. I am not so sure about SmartHome's. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello kjbbasic, Mike on this post (viewtopic.php?f=25&t=9483&p=76806#p76806) seems to have it working. I think it might be a bad batch. Can you please make sure your UI is at 3.3.5 (Help | About)? With kind regards, Michel
  10. Mr. Allen, I sure will put on the list. This said, it would be really helpful if you could give a list of parameters that you think are important (above and beyond the regular data). With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello Mr. Allen, The only parameters available are IP, mask, gateway, and dns ... none of the other low level parameters are available through our interface. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Michel Kohanim replied to remedy1234's topic in ISY994
Hi Vyrolan, We shall definitely take a look. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello sbex55, If you are not seeing any IR activities either in Event Viewer or the IR tab, then you are 100% correct. The best test would be to use any universal remote (including harmony) and choose a Philips device such as TV. If that does not work either then the problem is the unit itself. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello fordohio, Please reboot ISY. Once Admin Console is back up, synchronize the time but please WAIT for the progress bar to go away before you do anything else. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello everyone, UBI (http://theubi.com/) looks pretty good but they do not yet have their APIs. Once they have the APIs, it should be pretty simple to integrate. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi SunSentry, Thanks so very much for the feedback and so sorry it took us so long to get it working. With kind regards, Michel
  17. OverloadUT, We had to disable long file names because it increased RAM usage by almost 200%. Network resources/web server functionality accounts for less than 1% ISY features and as such, regardless of how many years long file names have been around, it makes no sense to sacrifice memory for this function. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello kjbbasic, That's really odd. I do recommend removing one from ISY, factory reset, and then add it back in. If that does not work either, then I will have no choice but to suspect either defective units OR the firmware behavior for the thermostat was changed without notice to us. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello Ken, You do not have to do double sign on. You can use the application (http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.5/admin.jnlp) which should put an icon on your desktop. Once that's done, click on the Add button in ISY Finder and then enter your ISY's httpS URL. Hi SunSentry, The difference between http/https is that ISY allows for more un-acked packets in HTTPS. We shall take a look as it seems that this problem happens much more often in the presence of firewall software. By the way, how are the new UI Themes working out in 3.3.5? With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello bktong, I do not think it would be efficient use of your time trying to debug through the forum. Unless you wish to continue on the forum, I strongly suggest contacting our tech support and scheduling a remote session (link below). Are you using the website URL or ISY's URL? With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello dec3169, The fact that ISY could hear events from your SWL even though it had not been registered in ISY is extremely troubling. In fact it should be impossible otherwise you have found a security hole (PLM must NOT pass traffic for devices which are not linked to it). So, this brings me back to LeeG's excellent observation: in all likelihood your PLM is full. Furthermore I venture to say that perhaps you are using an old PLM that at one point was linked to your SWL. Hello kjbbasic, It usually take a minute before you get temperature readings. Are you saying that you are not getting and readings whatsoever? With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi bktong, What operating system and 32 or 64 bits? With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi raydoc, Here are the instructions: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... PnP_Router With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello eataft, Please do the following: 1. Go to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp ... this should bring up an ISY Finder dialog 2. In the dialog, click on the Add button and then enter the https URL for your ISY 3. Close everything 4. If step#1 didn't install an icon on your desktop, then redo #1. Otherwise, click on the icon and choose the https entry If using https gives you better results, then the problem is certainly the firewall you have. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hello Kentinada, Aren't you given a dialog to choose the destination folder? With kind regards, Michel
