  1. Hi theedudenator, Can you please tell me: 1. Do you have our ELK module? 2. Have you followed the instructions here: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... ity_Module It seems that ELK is not configured properly and thus it's sending echoing commands. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi sanders2222, If you have PC and if you have not installed a self signed certificate, then the problem is that IE no longer supports certificates with lower strengths than 1024. As such, you will need to install a self signed certificate of 1024 key strength. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi chilli_pepper, Web = something from the web initiated this action Program = a program initiated System = a change of state or response from devices (say you turned on a switch physically) With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Harold, Yes, there is: http://www.homeorchestrator.com/UDStore ... ctPurchase ... please scroll down to Upgrades. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Walrus, thanks so very much for the update. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi dbelder1, Did you recently upgrade your 99 to 3.3.3? What you might want to try: 1. Telnet to ISY (http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... o_Your_ISY) 2. Login 3. At the prompt, type: RF /CONF/UD.DCF With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi rmobley5, From which ISY firmware version did you upgrade? Two notes: 1. If from anything below 3.2.6, then in all likelihood you need to install a new certificate. And, for this you either have to be local or have telnet access to your ISY 2. If you can get to your ISY using a browser but not the Admin Console, then you need Java 1.7 since we had to remove SSL v2 for security reasons With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi nowandthen, There's something wrong either with the motion sensor or the way it's registered in ISY. It's basically sending a NACK to ISY and thus the error you see. You might want to remove it and then add it back. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Ritch, Unfortunately we have not planned any more on line training. In the meantime, I am certain you will find our training videos as informational. And, you can always call us with your questions. Please checkout the links under Instructional Videos. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello P805, No, unfortunately not. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello Superidiot, I am so very sorry to hear. Can you tell me which URL you are using now to get to the Admin Console? With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Simon, Thanks so very much for your kind words. 1. Yes, upgrading to 994 is as easy as restoring your 99 backup onto 994. If you have any modules on your ISY that need transferred, then simply send the UUID for both of your ISYs (new & old) to sales@universal-devices.com with subject "Transfer modules" 2. Java heap space: this is something I have never seen before. This said, it could be related temporary files space (Java Preferences | Temporary Internet Files | Settings). Dashboard uses a LOT more graphics and perhaps the temp storage is not large enough to hold all of them With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Simon, I am so very sorry and, yes, the problem is hardware limitation. As far as the dashboard, it would be great if you have your Java console up ... perhaps there's an uncaught exception and the console will show it. Again, I am so very sorry. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Simon, I am so very sorry to hear. 1. Do you have an ISY994 Series or ISY99 Series ... wildcard certificates only work on 994 Series 2. The only way you can install wildcard certificates is to use the dashboard (you cannot use the Admin Console neither can you use /ssl/insteon URL from our website) 3. Please upgrade to 3.3.3 before attempting any of this With kind regards, Michel

Hello jmed999, You can indeed setup a weather station in your house. If you go to WeatherBug, they have a list of approved devices (including their own) which can report back to WeatherBug. You will get a station ID that you can use in your ISY (+ you will help others in your community). With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Sanders2222, I am so very sorry to hear. I think both problems are related to the program queue being full. 1. Can you give me your WeatherBug station name? 2. When the system seems hung, what do you see in the event viewer? 3. Please send your error and regular log to support@universal-devices.com With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi ergodic, Looking into it. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi jmed999, I really do not know what else to suggest. All my searches go back to the browser settings. And, mine works fine. Perhaps it would be best to search based on your phone's manufacturer and model number. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello icerabbit, You are not missing anything. The programming interface uses AM/PM and we decided not to touch it. AM/PM changes how you see events in the log, notifications, and the Admin Console. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi jmed999, Just like any browser, if you do NOT close the browser, it remembers the password (otherwise, you will have to enter your userid/password every second!). So, what you need to do is to make sure the browser is closed (you can use task manager to kill it) after you visit ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi molney, We migrated to a higher accuracy calculation for ETo. As such, would you please use Reset Variables in a program to clear the previous state? Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi jmed999, Please try this: While in the browser, push menu | more | settings and then scroll down to "Clear Passwords". Once you've cleared the passwords, login to your ISY and when it asks if you want it to remember your password select "Never". Please note that this will delete all passwords and form information for all other websites as well. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi smurt, Yes, we will but it will be after it has been released for production. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi jmed999, Please go to browser settings and clear all form data and history (unfortunately you cannot clear passwords only). Once that's done, make sure you do not check the remember password checkbox next time you go to ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi jmed999, Scene is always better since it's native to devices. This said, for your requirement, you need non-toggle RL buttons and I am not sure how to do that. With regular toggle buttons, your off scene will still turn the light on. With kind regards, Michel
