  1. Hello eataft, Thanks so very much for the update. If this is the cable that came with ISY, then please do be kind enough to send an email to sales@universal-devices.com and request for new cables (free of charge). We had this problem just once before with one of the gray cables (not the blue ones) and it turned out to be an intermittent solder joint on the connector. Sincere apologies for all the trouble you had to go through to figure this out. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi johnnyt, The only way you would have timeout on clients is if all HTTP tasks are busy doing something. The errors in the long only indicate that a socket that was supposed to close is not closed. This should not cause timeout issues. With kind regards, Michel
  3. If you can still telnet to ISY (i.e. you know ISY's IP address), then click the Add button in ISY Finder, and then enter the full URL for your ISY (including http). With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Mark, What type of error do you get when you use that link? With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi pyroman175@yahoo.com, Yes, it does look OK. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hi Mark, The first question is whether or not the link I sent works. Here's the link: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... an_SD_Card With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi tedbusen, As much as I would love to think the problem is resolved, but unfortunately I do not think that's the case unless: 1. You use httpS to access ISY AND 2. Your Java has not been upgraded to 1.7 With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi johnnyt, Those are informational messages and you would see them when you have Admin Console on level 3. It basically means that the end device sent close notify but ISY never received the actual close and it's still waiting. If the same error for the same socket is NOT repeated every 10 seconds and for a duration of more than 2 minutes, then you can ignore these messages. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi Mark, the problem is that the UI files were not installed properly. I do think that your SD Card is dying. In the meantime, please try using the following URL: http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.6/admin.jnlp With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hi stillen_i30, What's the firmware version as displayed on Admin Console? With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi mzanni, Thanks so very much for the detailed instructions. With kind regards, Michel
  12. eataft, No notwork connection means that ISY does not sense the link to the router. If you have ISY connected through a switch, try connecting directly to the router. You might also want to try a different network cable. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi Joe, Unfortunately not. This said, you can indeed export all the 30 programs and then import them into each folder. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Guys, As far as I remember, V3 was never posted after we introduced the Irrigation Module. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi tedbusen, Thank you. Do you know if ISY's IP address changed after the upgrade? If so - and in combination with ESET/NOD32 - it's quite possible that the new IP address for ISY is not configured in your ESET. Alternatively, please try accessing ISY using httpS. If this fixes the issues, then the problem is related to your firewall. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Jason, They should be. Can you tell me what error you are getting? Can you please make sure you follow the instructions here: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index ... Thermostat Please note that if you have older version of INSTEON dongle/firmware, you might have to upgrade for full features. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Mark, There are two problems: 1. There are major network issues especially those involving DNS resolution 2. I think your file system is getting corrupted Above two have nothing to do with one another. My recommendation: 1. If your ISY is setup with a static IP address, I strongly recommend going back to DHCP 2. Take a good backup and then upgrade to 3.3.6 With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello all, I am happy to announce the availability of our 3.3.6 (RC3) release! For a list of changes, please take a look at this post. This is a minor release and hopefully one which will become our official release. Know Issues - None Things to test: - SSL Communications with ELK which requires ISY994 PRO Series (Configuration instructions) - File | Themes - Accessibility using Alt key and keyboard accelerators - Outdoor On/Off Module 2634_222 - SwitchLinc Dimmer 2478D Important Information 1. Important Brultech module is no longer supported on ISY99 Series. Please contact sales@universal-devices.com for options 2. Important NetBios removed from ISY99 Series. You can no longer access ISY by going to http://isy on Windows 3. Important If you have a 994, you will need to re-install a certificate. Please review ISY994 Series Advanced Network Security Configuration for more information. 4. Important We have removed SSLv2 support (very insecure) from ISY99/ISY994. Unfortunately, the only protocol supported by MAC with Java 1.6 is SSLv2. As such, you MUST upgrade your MAC to Java 1.7 (Software Update) 4. Please note that Safari does not support SSL session reuse and thus might take an exorbitant amount of time to communicate with ISY. As such, when using 2048 bit SSL, it's best not to use Safari. 5. If you are using the Irrigation Module and are upgrading from releases prior to 3.1.5, you must edit the programs using Irrigation variables and save the programs again. Irrigation module is no longer on promotion 6. Upgrading from 3.1.3 and below: If you are using WeatherBug Module's Rain Today in your programs, please note that the precision has changed from 1/10 to 1/100 and thus your programs might not run properly 7. For a discussion of variables, please look at our Program Variables forum. Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 99i Series ISY 994i Series 3. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 4. Choose the file saved in step 2 5. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache 6. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet --- Security Warning: Due to recent Java security problems, it's best to always use method #d b. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application c. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.6 - applet --- Security Warning: Due to recent Java security problems, it's best to always use method #d d. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.3.6/admin.jnlp - Java application Best method to access Admin Console Dashboard - http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3. ... board.jnlp 8. Please backup your system again Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello tedbusen, Can you please tell me what is your operating system and Java version. If you have a MAC or Java 1.6 some of these issues might be explained. Also, if you have a firewall software, that might also explain some of these issues. Also, please note that any operations that eventually has to deal with INSTEON is queued so, if you do multiple scene tests simultaneously or do other INSTEON things at the same time, at some point you will exhaust ISY's HTTP tasks. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Mr. Allen, thanks so very much. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi stillen_i30, Which thermostats? SmartHome's or Venstar's? I'm relatively confident that the Venstar's should work properly. I am not so sure about SmartHome's. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello kjbbasic, Mike on this post (viewtopic.php?f=25&t=9483&p=76806#p76806) seems to have it working. I think it might be a bad batch. Can you please make sure your UI is at 3.3.5 (Help | About)? With kind regards, Michel
  23. Mr. Allen, I sure will put on the list. This said, it would be really helpful if you could give a list of parameters that you think are important (above and beyond the regular data). With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello Mr. Allen, The only parameters available are IP, mask, gateway, and dns ... none of the other low level parameters are available through our interface. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Vyrolan, We shall definitely take a look. With kind regards, Michel
