Release 3.2.4 (Beta) Is Now Available
Hello Teken, Thanks so very much for the detailed response. This said, unfortunately I do not have enough information to go by. I have tried all releases starting from 2.8.16 (in which case this switch was not even supported) all the way up to 3.2.4 and, even though all (except 3.2.2/3 where you would get request failed) let you set the timeout value, but NONE sticks. I just need to know if you were ever able to set this value with any of the previous ISY firmware and, if so, which. Is it possible that these values were set using HouseLinc? Hello blueman2, thanks so very much for the verification. That's precisely the behavior I am experiencing here. With kind regards, Michel

Release 3.2.4 (Beta) Is Now Available
Hello rls, Can you tell me if this is a regular remotelinc or remotelinc2? Teken, I had explicitly asked if anyone had EVER been able to set this value using ISY and on which ISY version. I have never ever been able to set this value and it would be great if you could tell me which version of ISY was able to set this value. With kind regards, Michel

Release 3.2.4 (Beta) Is Now Available
Hello all, I am happy to announce the availability of our 3.2.3 release! For a list of changes, please take a look at this post. This is a minor release addressing i1/i2/i2cs compatibility issues. Know Issues None Things to test: - SwitchLinc Timer - I2CS devices -- You might have to remove devices and then add them back to ISY Important Information 1. Important If you have already installed a self signed certificate and your current firmware is 2.7.10 and below, you must reinstall a new one before the upgrade. 2. Please note that Safari does not support SSL session reuse and thus might take an exorbitant amount of time to communicate with ISY. As such, when using 2048 bit SSL, it's best not to use Safari. 3. Irrigation module is no longer on promotion 4. Upgrading from 3.1.3 and below: If you are using WeatherBug Module's Rain Today in your programs, please note that the precision has changed from 1/10 to 1/100 and thus your programs might not run properly 5. For a discussion of variables, please look at our Program Variables forum. Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK 2. Choose the file saved in step 2 5. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache 6. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. 99/994i - http://isy/admin - applet (Windows only) b. 99/994i - http://isy/admin.jnlp - Java application (Windows only) c. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet d. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application e. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.2.4 - applet f. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.2.4/admin.jnlp - Java application Dashboard - not fully supported - http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3. ... board.jnlp 8. DMX bridge to Insteon ??
Hello frustratednon-geek, I am not very familiar with DMX board so I am not sure what it's capable of doing. If it's capable of calling a URL on a remote device on the network, then it's certainly possible to accomplish what you wish quite easily. If not, then we'll have to figure out how DMX can communicate with external devices. With kind regards, Michel

Irrigation Cycle Complete Question
Hello strahan001, Allowable depletion is a function of water applied per irrigation cycle. Allowable Depletion = Water Applied Per Irrigation Cycle * Absorption Factor. So, if absorption factor is close to 1, then those values shall be identical. With kind regards, Michel

Release 3.2.3 (Beta) Is Now Available
Hello mrobles, Please do make sure your devices are NOT in a folder. Hello all, Sincere apologies for tardy reply. Just for the sake of clarification: 1. For database management, all devices use I1 (calibrated) UNLESS they report as I2CS or if they are listed in our list of explicit I2 devices (such as RL2, Motion Sensor, TriggerLinc) 2. For I2 commands, all devices that report I2 or I2CS are communicated with using extended commands We should have 3.2.4 out shortly. We are hoping that someone can categorically let us know if it was ever possible to actually set the timeout value on an SWL Timer. And, if so, on which release? With kind regards, Michel

Release 3.2.3 (Beta) Is Now Available
Hello CMartin, are you sure the file is zipped? Please do NOT unzip the file. If you are on MAC, then the problem is that MAC automatically unzips the files. You may want to press the Ctrl button while downloading so that the file stays zipped. andyfo, that's a bug and thanks so very much for finding it. It is fixed in 3.2.4 to be released on Monday or Tuesday. All, we are still trying to figure out the issue with SWL Timer and thus the delay in our 3.2.4 release. Has anyone been able to ever set the timeout values on this device? If so, can you tell me which firmware version? With kind regards, Michel

Release 3.2.3 (Beta) Is Now Available
Hello Teken, Please do be kind enough to submit a ticket (link below). At this point, the best thing to do would be to log in to your system and see what's going on. From the event viewer entries, everything seems to be OK and it should work. CMartin, what was the first error? You might want to try https://your.isy.ip.address ... I suspect your firewall is blocking the Admin Console from communicating with your ISY. With kind regards, Michel

synchrolinc and appletv
Hello jamesddelaney, I am so very sorry to hear this. I have a SynchroLinc v.82 right in front of me and I have tried every possible permutation to make it fail with no success. The only thing we can do at this point is request SmartHome to send us their latest firmware (0E) and see if we can figure out the root cause. Again, sincere apologies. With kind regards, Michel
