Hi Clarence, We do support iMeter and you do get the accumulated value (till you reset it). We have plans for supporting variable assignments. With kind regards, Michel

What do these errors mean?
Hello wrj0, Are you certain that the level is 1? What happens if you disable the event viewer, do you still see them in your log? With kind regards, Michel

Release 3.2.6 Is Now Official
Hello Dr. Lazarow, In all likelihood, you have another device with a static IP address which may have a conflict with ISY. Have you setup your ISY with a static IP address? Hello mrp, Do other WB variables report? Also, do you see Rain Max populated in the Admin Console? With kind regards, Michel

Release 3.2.6 Is Now Official
Hello Mr. Zurakowski, That's indeed quite odd. Would you be kind enough to keep an eye and keep us posted? I really do not think the firmware had anything to do with it. So, the fact that you had to factory reset it and reinstall it in ISY is suspect. That's why I think there's a good chance that it will happen again. With kind regards, Michel

How to get rid of unwanted link
The original problem was case of missing links especially when one changed scene attributes through programs. To fix that, during the 3.1.x beta, we went through a revamp of database handling. No, it should not happen. Yes, it's fixable but, unfortunately, not without removing the device and adding it back (in your case, this is going to be quite challenging). With kind regards, Michel

Pre-sales Question: Modules and Prices...?
Hello homejones, This is not true. ISY994i is complete and there's no need to buy any optional modules. Are there any modules in particular that you consider a "must"? This said, although you can find a list of optional modules on our website - and you are correct - prices were not added. This must be rectified. Thanks and with kind regards, Michel

Upgrading ISY-99i to ISY-994i
Hello Dennis, Please do be kind enough to reseat the SD Card one more time. If the error light is still blinking, please contact sales@universal-devices.com and we'll send you a replacement unit. We need to do root cause analysis on this unit to see where the problem is. I do apologize for the inconvenience. With kind regards, Michel

Upgrading ISY-99i to ISY-994i
Hello Dennis, Sincere apologies. Do you see the error light blinking at all? Also, would you please take the little rubber cap on the front of the unit and make sure the "micro" SD card is seated securely? If you are still having problems, please do not hesitate to contact our support (links below) as it's much quicker than going through the forum. With kind regards, Michel

Release 3.2.6 Is Now Official
Hi Mark, thank you. I already responded to your email. Please note that you cannot disable SSL/HTTPS. What you can do (which I strongly advise against) is to forward to port 80 instead of 443. With kind regards, Michel

Upgrading ISY-99i to ISY-994i
Hi Dennis, I think most of your questions were answered except: 1. Zigbee module, you will have to order directly from us. Please send your inquiry to sales@Universal-devices.com 2. EM3 is our 3 phase energy monitor with 2 temperature sensors and 2 pulse counters. We have not commercialized it yet since it has not gone through UL/FCC certification With kind regards, Michel

Link records in hex on screen vs. XML in output file?
Hi ELA, I didn't say we used XML to reduce size. I said we used integer representation (4 bytes) to reduce size and furthermore have a unified representation across ISY/Admin Console. This way, it's up to the UI to format it however it chooses to do so. With kind regards, Michel

What do these errors mean?
Hello apostoalkisl, Is the IP from dvr or your camera? In all cases, UPnP devices DO search for other UPnP devices and that should explain it if and only if one of your devices (either dvr or camera) is UPnP enabled. With kind regards, Michel

What do these errors mean?
It's regular UPnP discovery stuff. With kind regards, Michel

Link records in hex on screen vs. XML in output file?
Thanks LeeG, you're 100 correct. The decision was made to reduce the file size. If you are comfortable with Java, I can send you the file that converts it. With kind regards, Michel

How to get rid of unwanted link
Hi Illusion, This is not good. It would be extremely helpful if you can summarize the history of this device and, if possible, firmware levels that were used (i.e. was it before 3.1.17 or after 3.1.17)? Also, please take a look at your Error Log and let me know if you see any -11000x errors with the file name being the address of this devices. With kind regards, Michel

Issue With ISY Firmware 3.2.5 (RC)
Hello Ultrajones, Would you please do another export and send it to support@universal-devices.com? I think we may have removed it because, if you have thermostats or garage doors in scenes, sending All on/All off basically wrecks havoc: it may set your thermostat set points to some very low number (your thermostats may go to cool point till the set point is reached) and the garage doors would open. In short, we are seriously considering removing All On/All Off altogether since it's behavior is NOT predictable. My suggestion is to not use My Lighting for anything except for queries. With kind regards, Michel

Power for ISY-99i Pro
Hi BrianH, 994 has a faster/bigger flash and a new network PHY and, in combination with SDHC 1GB San Disk, it would be a little quicker. This said, the performance gain depends on the operations. 300 mA is the minimum requirement and, precisely to your point, the 1 amp power supply is to support such things as Zigbee and ZWave radios. With kind regards, Michel

Release 3.2.6 Is Now Official
05.10.2012: Hello all, Thanks to all your help and support, release 3.2.6 is now our official release! Thanks and with kind regards, Michel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello all, I am happy to announce the availability of our 3.2.6 (RC2) release! For a list of changes, please take a look at this post. This is a minor release with the hope that it will become our official release. Know Issues None Things to test: - HTTPS performance especially with 2048 RSA keys - ELK on UDAjax Important Information 1. Important If you have already installed a self signed certificate and your current firmware is 2.7.10 and below, you must reinstall a new one before the upgrade. 2. Please note that Safari does not support SSL session reuse and thus might take an exorbitant amount of time to communicate with ISY. As such, when using 2048 bit SSL, it's best not to use Safari. 3. If you are using the Irrigation Module and are upgrading from releases prior to 3.1.5, you must edit the programs using Irrigation variables and save the programs again. Irrigation module is no longer on promotion 4. Upgrading from 3.1.3 and below: If you are using WeatherBug Module's Rain Today in your programs, please note that the precision has changed from 1/10 to 1/100 and thus your programs might not run properly 5. For a discussion of variables, please look at our Program Variables forum. Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 99i Series ISY 994i Series 3. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 4. Choose the file saved in step 2 5. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache 6. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet b. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application c. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i - applet d. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp - Java application Dashboard - not fully supported - http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/dashboard.jnlp 8. Please backup your system again Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
