  1. Hi matapan, Unfortunately not. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi helipal, OK, I think we now have to move to some of the problems with RF PLM and specifically noise in the 900MHz range: Do you have any baby monitors? We have had at least 3 cases where the baby monitors were interfering with the RF signals coming from the PLM. And, in all cases, the thermostats exhibited the same exact problem as you are having right now. Also, if you have a good backup, please try factory resetting the PLM. In some cases - and if the PLM is bad - after you factory reset it and then go to Link Management | Start Linking, you will hear a long beep coming from the PLM. In case you do not hear the beep, then do a File | Restore Modem (PLM) to put back your links in the PLM. The backup is only needed as a safeguard in case something goes bad. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi Illusion, thanks so very much. Updated. gatchel, are you certain you are using the correct Admin Console version? Please go to Help | About and make sure that the Admin Console version is at 3.1.14. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Illusion, Thanks so very much. Would you please keep an eye ... if indeed related to mobile applications, we need to figure out what caused it. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hello FrayAdjacent, Did you order the bundle? If so, the bundle should come with a power supply. With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello auger66, THANKS SO VERY MUCH for reporting back. We were never able to get it to work with our 2.2 dongle. So, perhaps 2.3 has a fix. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi again, Thanks for the update. I was not personally involved in that integration work so I didn't know. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello auger66, Removing and adding the thermostat back to ISY is not going to help. There's an option in the Admin Console which "is supposed" to let you control humidity reporting for the thermostat. This said, we never got it to work properly. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello all, Release 3.1.14 is is now available. Jeff, please try 3.1.14 and let us know if you still have the same issue. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello all, I am happy to announce the availability of our 3.1.14 release! For a list of changes, please take a look at this post. This is a minor release with mostly ELK module bug fixes and enhancements. ELK Integration Module ($99.00 ... 40% off during Beta using coupon code elk-module-beta). Please note upgrade to 3.1.13 must be performed before installing the ELK Module Important Information 1. ISY-26 is no longer included in the firmware builds 2. Due to the sensitive nature of supporting MorningLinc/ELK Security Systems, users now must agree to terms and conditions upon Admin Console start up otherwise the dialog keeps popping up every time the Admin Console is started 3. Important If you have already installed a self signed certificate and your current firmware is 2.7.10 and below, you must reinstall a new one before the upgrade. 4. Please note that Network Resource modules are now running in their own task. This might have some ramifications as calling network resources from programs no longer waits for the resource to complete. As such, a) you will experience quicker handling of network resources/programs and if you are using DSCLinc and WebLinc, your programs may behave a little differently. Please do test your network resources thoroughly 5. Please note that Safari does not support SSL session reuse and thus might take an exorbitant amount of time to communicate with ISY. As such, when using 2048 bit SSL, it's best not to use Safari. 6. If you are using the Irrigation Module and are upgrading from releases prior to 3.1.5, you must edit the programs using Irrigation variables and save the programs again. Irrigation module is no longer on promotion 7. Upgrading from 3.1.3 and below: If you are using WeatherBug Module's Rain Today in your programs, please note that the precision has changed from 1/10 to 1/100 and thus your programs might not run properly 8. For a discussion of variables, please look at our Program Variables forum. Things to test: - ELK Module (if you have ELK) - Empty links tables Instructions: 1. Please backup your ISY (File | Backup ISY). If you are backing up a 3.1.6 system, please note that the backups are corrupted. If you have a backup from prior releases, you should be OK 2. Please download the firmware for your platform - please do not unzip ISY 99i Series ISY 994i Series 3. Important (If upgrading from 2.8.5 through 2.8.14) Due to invalid Java certificate chain, please make sure to remove all Universal Devices certificates from Java: a. Close all browser sessions b. Open Java Control Panel (Java Preferences on MAC) c. Click on the Security tab. Remove all Universal Devices certificates (on MAC, click on the '-' button at the bottom) e. Clear your Java Cache 4. Login to the Admin Console and choose Help | Manually Upgrade [the name of your system] 5. Choose the file saved in step 2 MAC users: if upgrade fails, please add https://your.isy.ip.address to ISY Finder (see 3c above) 6. After the upgrade, ISY reboots. Please do ensure to clear your Java Cache 7. IMPORTANT Once upgrade is completed and ISY reboots, use any of the following methods to access your ISY's Admin Console: a. 99/994i - http://isy/admin - applet (Windows only) b. 99/994i - http://isy/admin.jnlp - Java application (Windows only) c. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin - applet d. http://your.isy.ip.address/admin.jnlp - Java application e. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.1.14 - applet f. http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.1.14/admin.jnlp - Java application Dashboard - not fully supported - http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3. ... board.jnlp 8. Please backup your system again Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  11. Michel Kohanim replied to ergodic's topic in ISY994
Hello ergodic, Please see this post: viewtopic.php?f=27&t=7471 In some cases, also, we have seen that factory resetting the PLM simply causes it to go to a mode where each command just causes it to sound a long beep. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi Tim, Yes, there seems to be an issue with the PLM hanging intermittently in two cases: 1. RF devices 2. Larger installations (i.e. the number of links in the PLM is 300 and above) ... at least that's what we have observed SmartHome is working on a solution and we are awaiting a resolution. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello auger66, Does your thermostat report anything else such as changes in mode (when you do it on the thermostat itself)? With kind regards, Michel
  14. sanders2222, ISY expires sessions when it cannot communicate with subscribers (including Admin Console). So, when your computer goes to sleep or hibernate mode, ISY will expire the session. The message you see is that the Admin Console, now awake, thinks that it still has a subscription but of course we know that ISY already expired it because AC decided to sleep. With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hello iostream212, I think Bob was working on an Elve driver for ISY: http://www.bobsplace.com/ElveWUnderground/ You might want to contact him. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello iostream212, You can if you have an external device using our REST interface: /rest/log /rest/log?reset=true ... clears all system log entries /rest/log/error /rest/log/error?reset=true ... clears all error log entries There were a few reasons for the differences between the two and mostly historical: 1. The System Log captured events from devices and programs and, originally, included error information too which became quite unmanageable 2. The System Log is transmitted in CSV and used minimal amount of information ... it's basically the Admin Console that translates those values (such as time in NTP, and device address) to human readable form and then into Excel 3. The System log has to capture more parameters 3. The error log, on the other hand, only has a code and then description ... this did not fit well with what we had for System Log In short, they are really different things. We still have a SysLog requirement that we haven't had a chance to look at but I think that would be the best option in the long run (though it might have a negative impact on network performance in a highly busy system). With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Jim, Is your new PLM a dual band PLM? If so, have you removed your other access points or otherwise have you made sure they are still bridging the phases? Also, is your new PLM located in the same location as the old one? With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello williammanda, Comments below: Correct! You do NOT need the Network Module for Mobile communications unless you want to use TouchSwitch. And a Power Supply! With kind regards,
  19. Hello to all of those with program evaluation issues ... we are looking into this problem and will report back. Thanks for your patience and with kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello blue6, Please submit a ticket and we'll schedule a remote session to see if we can fix it (reflash using serial port). I do apologize for the inconvenience. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi guys, Thanks so very much for all the input. We'll look into it and report back. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hi Wayne, The main thing is that the program evaluated to false for some reason. There could be two cases: 1. For some reason the event did not reach ISY ... check your error logs and make sure you do not have UDQFull errors (if you have them just prior to Start, that's OK .. only those that are not close to Start) 2. The program actually turned false because it was false I would start with 1. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello wth18359, I would not recommend it mostly because ISY does not know anything about it. What you might want to do instead is: 1. Register your devices using Remove existing links 2. Use the HomeSeer plugin for ISY (http://www.bobsplace.com/ISYInsteon/) This way, all INSTEON configuration/management is done via ISY while all ISY events are published to HomeSeer. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello Lou, -1 means Request Failed. Unlike device communication errors, -1 means that the device returned a NACK. You might want to use the Event Viewer on Device Communications level and capture the traffic. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Monte, sincere apologies for tardy reply. At this point and in order not to waste more of your time, would you be kind enough to use the Submit a ticket button below so that we can schedule a remote session for you? With kind regards, Michel
