  1. Hi Mark, Thanks so very much for your kind words. Yes, still planning to have this included in 2.8. Unfortunately, due to daily changes and requests I cannot give an exact date. Thanks and with kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi ergodic, We can surely develop this feature which simply checks the remote IP address against ISY's address. The only problem is that there are many network tools out there than can fake the source IP address. As such, if your ISY is on the Internet, then it will be at a very high risk. We are going to fix the fact that Admin console requires authentication even after you've been authenticated to ISY. But, we cannot change authentication on ISY itself. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hi xd40, I am sorry to hear that! I would appreciate it if you could tell me what you wish to accomplish that you cannot already accomplish with the current paradigm. I would sincerely appreciate your feedback. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hello xd40, Unfortunately I cannot give any timelines simply because we are still investigating all the changes to all parts of the code. In the meantime, you can use the status of programs as binary variables. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi mozman, Quite weird and, as a matter of fact, it should've been the opposite (when all of ISY's HTTP tasks are busy, then you will get socket timeout exceptions). By the way, do you have Network Magic? With kind regards, Michel
  6. Thank you so very much for the logs. We are working on it. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hi mozman, It should be OK as long as you the changes you make are: 1. Not going to impact the same device and are for decoration purposes 2. They are not INSTEON related 3. They are not going to be long running You can rename devices from the same Admin Console while the initialization is in progress. Beyond that, I really do not recommend doing anything else because most other things fall in one of the categories above. With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hi Joe, The load button is the one that controls the load. For both 6 and 8 buttons, the it's the one whose address ends with 1. When you first add, on the 8 buttons, this is named as x.x.x.A .... on the 6 button this is identified as x.x.x.1. As far as the KPLs, I think it would be wise to get one replacement from SH and checkout the theory. With kind regards, Michel Thanks Michel All makes sense, but to be sure the "load button" is the button on the device (say a switch on a lamp) that is turned on/off, and it makes no difference if the KPL is in 6 or 8 button mode? and this is only for Pad "A" Regarding Ver 2D KPLs what do you think I should do?
  9. Hi Joe, Thanks so very much. So, it seems that there's an issue with version 2Ds. As far as your question about them being part of other scenes, it should not really matter as long as there are NO programs that are activated to control those scenes based on the status of devices in the other scene. And, finally, here's my rule of thumb when creating scenes (or multiple): 1. If the same exact devices appear in both scenes 2. If the same exact controllers control the same responders Then you should use one scene. As far as applied locally, it basically means the on level which is used when you physically click the load button on that device. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello all, This is a serious issue which we will have to take quite seriously. In the mean time, would you guys change the interval to every 1 hour. For now, this is considered a bug and any information would sincerely be appreciated. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hi Rich, This is quite strange. If ISY thinks the status is Off then the program should stop running. Would you please kind enough to schedule a tech support call? This way, we can see what's going on and don't have to go back and forth on forum. With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hi dss, Thanks so very much for the update. With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hi markens, There are two explanations: 1. The NTP server returned a bogus time 2. The RTC is going bad Please do keep an eye and let us know if it happens again. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello Mr. Aldridge, E is for energy ... simply add a price under the electricity tab. With kind regards, Michel Hi Michel, What about /CONF/E? I see this also in my log? Thanks, Ruben
  15. Hi Joe, Apologies for a tardy reply. I think the best thing to do would be to simply add your new KPL to ISY ( do not replace ), try the Mutex buttons on the new KPL and let me know if it works. If it does, then the problem is isolated to either that firmware version of KPL or that specific KPL. With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi grog, I totally agree. We are experimenting with a few client side rich UI browser agnostic technologies. We just have to settle on the minimum features that we want supported and the mobile phones we want to support. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi again, So, is it true that both 2Ds have the same issue and the 00 does not? I just need to isolate the problem and make sure it's not device firmware related vs. ISY related. Thanks so very much for your patience and input. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi grog, I love bold and hate my own storm ... The reason I asked the question was because we were thinking (and still thinking) of beautifying the HTML interface. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Ah, I am so very sorry! Those are configuration files for Open Auto DR and Flex Your Power (under Electricity tab). Since you have not configured them, it's just a warning that the modules could not be initialized. So very sorry for the wrong answer! With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hi Joe, I thought you mentioned they were 2C (the description in ISY). So, do you have both 2Cs and 2Ds? If so, are both exhibiting the same problem? With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi dss, I am certain you can do as the manual outlines as long as you consider ISY the responder. So, if you follow the instructions for non-toggle on the CC while linking it to ISY, it should work. There's just no programmatic way (like KPLs) that we can accomplish the same feat. Please keep me posted. With kind regards, Michel Smarthome doesn't provide this information to their developers? Seems odd. What if it is done manually using the method outlined in the manual and then added to the ISY? Or if I purchased one with the remote and then added it to the ISY would it retain the toggle functionality? For making a theater scene with my Harmony remote to turn the lights off when the movie starts you need a non-toggle off button.
  22. Hi Rich, I am getting a little confused as well! I do not think you would need the "is not off" condition at all. In short, the program continues to run till the status changes from on to something else. You would need the "is not off" if you used control since a control does not have a status. But, since you are using status, the condition is evaluated based on the status of the device. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi again, I guess it's time for us to get a 2C KPL and test. As I mentioned before, I cannot reproduce this problem here. Are all your KPLs version 2C? With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi, I really think there's something else in play here. But, yes, you can factory reset and restore: 1. To factory reset your KPL, take the set button out, leave out for 10 seconds and then push it back in and hold it in for 10 seconds 2. Right mouse click on any of the buttons for the KPL and choose Restore Device With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi grog, Yes, you are 100% correct and that's indeed in the list of requirements to accomplish. May I ask what PDA you use? With kind regards, Michel
