  1. Hi Guys; As usual, I think I found this topic somewhere but I can't find it again. Is there a way to do this: I have a kitchen light on a SWL and if i press it on just the light comes on. When I double click it, a scene is triggered. Is there a way to resume the lighting that I had? In other words, go back to the lighting that I had before I triggered the scene? Drew
  2. Sweet. I think I'm actually getting it. drew
  3. I apologize if this post becomes lengthy. I s this the best way to achieve this? I've put KPL buttons b c and e in a mutex group buttons b setting are bathroom 30% Big room 30% Big Room Kpl off Dining Room 30% Hall KPL 30% Kitchen 30% ButtonC is Bath off Big Room 45 Big Room KPL off Dining 30 Hall off Kitchen 30 and Button E is Bath 30 Big Room 60 Big Room KPL 30 Dining 30 Hall 30 Kitchen 30 I've done this so that when I press any KPL button (b c or e) lights that I don't want on shut off automatically. and others chage to their different percentage. Again, my question is if there's a shorter or more streamlined way of getting the same effect. Drew
  4. Would I make the scene on button C have lights 1 2 3 on their new setting and lights 4 and 5 off (or at 0%) Drew As an aside how do I "quote" on this forum? Drew
  5. I'm confused a bit by what the mutually exclusive buttons can do The LEDS turn off when I push other buttons, yes, but For example, When I push the B KPL it turns on lights 1 2 3 4 5 When I push the C KPL it changes lights 1 2 3 (common to both scenes) but lights 4 and 5 are still on. Even though I'm triggering the scenes with the KPL and not the RL, does the fact that having the RL in the scene mess up the way the Mutex buttons work? Or did you mean if I trigger the scene with the RL it won't let the LEDs shut off because the RL can't be Mutex? Drew
  6. I have my remotelinc controlling these scenes as well. So it will work if I use only the KPL buttons but will act the way it does now if I trigger the scenes with the Remlinc. I can't remember if the Remlinc has MUTex buttons as well. Is it just the KPLs? By the way, I'm finally seeing all the cool stuff I can do with the ISY. Having a great time. Drew P.S. What does ISY stand for? It's probably obvious and I'm not seeing it.
  7. So if I drag and drop KPL button B scene and KPL button C scene into the same group, Scene B (and it's LED) will shut off when I activate KPL scene C? Drew
  8. When I push B on my KPL, everything's fine. When I push C the B scene (and LED) is still on. I read somewhere in the forum how to kill the other lights(and LEDs) when you push a KPL scene but can't find it again. All I found was this but I don't understand the Mutually Exclusive Buttons thing. http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=25 Is this what I'm looking for? Drew
  9. Michel has the patience of Job. Thanks again, Drew
  10. I've never seen the udlogo on my browser window that loads before the gui. Has anyone else had this issue. I did get a refurbished ISY and I didn't get the disc but everything seems to work. Again, no big deal, just wondering. (and can I make it any logo somehow?) Andrew
  11. As you can probably tell, I'm at the start of using my ISY. I've had the insteon stuff for a while and tried Houselinc but was left a little frustrated. I need to learn more about IF and THEN and Qualifiers. I've been to the WIKI site and it's okay but not really informative. Is there a site or a particular forum that's got a good education on starting to program the ISY? Drew
  12. Good one, Joe. Maybe I can have it run only between the hours of (?) and (?) or have it run only if it's also before a certain hour of the night (say 11:00pm?) Drew
  13. In my ISY, how would I write a program that the condition was If no light switch has been touched for four hours (let's say) then turn on some indoor and outdoor lights (because I'm obviously not home and want lights on when I arrive). Drew
