Remote Temperature Monitoring
You could use the wireless Insteon thermostat with a battery eliminator power supply. You could then write a program to have the ISY email you if the temperature and/or humidity reaches a programmed threshold.

Longevity of Insteon switches and dimers?
Seems the biggest reason for the Insteon device failure is caused by black outs/brown outs and power surges . It's best to add a whole house surge protector at the main panel(s) especially if you're located in an area that has an unstable power grid.

Thermostat 2441ZTH
If you use a program to turn on your applianceLinc based on temperature you won't have to worry about setting heat/cool points and/or modes in the thermostat. I've replaced batteries in my thermostat and it came back online without any button pushes, etc. Not sure what happens if you're using "mode" to control your applianceLinc. It's possible the thermostat may revert to off as a safety measure. Guess you could pull the batteries then put them back in to see what happens.

Linking an Insteon wireless Stat after replacing PLM
Try a factory reset on the thermostat, it's possible something in its memory got corrupted.

Thermostat 2441ZTH
The mode setting is a moot issue as you're only monitoring the temperature changes. The temperature and humidity will update in the ISY regardless of what the mode setting is. My modes are all set on off. If the tstat looses power it should resume sending data when the power is restored.

I/O Linc with Hardwired Motion Sensor
How about the Insteon motion sensor with a battery eliminator power supply, and you wouldn't need the IOLinc.

Assistance with hardwired device
gatchel, Pick up a circuit tester at a hardware store, it tests for correct wiring, open ground, reverse polarity, open hot, open neutral, hot on neutral, hot and ground reversed with open hot in 3-wire, 125VAC circuits. (see attached). These are good to have around as many outlets are incorrectly wired, but your current problem does sound like a loose neutral connection.

Can a 2477D Switchlinc operate as RF only?
416to305, Both incandescent and halogen bulbs are based on the concept of two parallel metal wires transmitting an electrical current to a tungsten filament that connects them, heating the filament to a point where its heat is reflected as light. The major difference between an incandescent bulb and a halogen bulb is the gases that each produces within its glass bulb. The purpose of gas production is the same in that it is meant to slow evaporation of the filament and keep it from rusting. Both incandescent and halogen bulbs go dark when the filament wears out and breaks. Incandescent bulbs fill with a mixture of 93 percent argon and seven percent nitrogen, both of which are inert gases. A halogen bulb adds a halogen gas, such as iodine or bromine, creating a chemical reaction that regenerates evaporated tungsten and puts it back on the filament, helping to extend the filament’s life and therefore the life of the light bulb. In theory both should work with the two wire RF only switch, however an led light does not supply enough voltage to the switch to power it.

Thermostat 2441ZTH
hart2hart a query will not provide temperature or humidity. the only time temperature and humidity will be updated in the ISY is when one of the values on the thermostat changes. I have several 2441ZTH's, one I use to turn on the bathroom exhaust fan when the humidity exceeds a predefined level, I use another to turn on an exhaust fan in an equipment closet when the temperature exceeds a set level. If you want to force the thermostat to manually update in the ISY blow hot air on it.

I/O Linc with Hardwired Motion Sensor
Try doing a factory reset on the IOLinc then reinstalling it. Seems everything else is correct.

Thermostat 2441ZTH
If you have a power supply hooked up the thermostat you should be able to query the device. If it's only battery powered then the query will not work as the device sleeps until either the humidity or temperature changes. However if powered by either battery or power supply the temperature and humidity will not update or populate the ISY until one of the parameters on the thermostat changes

I/O Linc with Hardwired Motion Sensor
Are you sure that the IOLinc is communicating with the ISY? Do a device query to make sure. Have you set up a program to turn on the light when the sensor is triggered?

Flashing Light Switch
Is the light included in any programs or scenes, if so try disabling the program(s) to see if that resolves the issue. What type of device is controlling the light?

Can't turn off load sensing on LampLinc?
I replaced all my ApplianceLincs with the newer dual band on/off modules which are more reliable and I have not had any issues.

Can't turn off load sensing on LampLinc?
The dual band On/Off modules do not have load sensing and will work with the LED lights

ISY 994/IR the red light flashes error and cannot be cleared
Also check your cables to make sure they are properly seated and in the correct ports

Greater Than - Less Than - Equals Greater Than - Etc
I assume the interface is the 1 wire Autelis interface for the ISY. What is the master?

ISY 994/IR the red light flashes error and cannot be cleared
-
Greater Than - Less Than - Equals Greater Than - Etc
Can you add 50 or 100 feet of cable to the end of the three feet of wire then hook up to the interface? You mentioned that you have numerous sensors, do they all go to one interface?
-
Greater Than - Less Than - Equals Greater Than - Etc
Teken I was looking at some of the specs for the temperature sensors that Autelis supports and noticed that some are rated to -10C to +85C
-
Greater Than - Less Than - Equals Greater Than - Etc
Teken I didn't realize that the ISY and Autelis would work at the North Pole. Which 1 wire sensors are you using, I've been looking for one that that supports a long lead.

Greater Than - Less Than - Equals Greater Than - Etc
Teken, Not sure what hardware you're using but are you sure it supports -20C ?

ISY994i/ir pro unresponsive after upgrade to latest firmware
If you're referring to the ISY no longer showing up in the network window it's because UDI disabled UPnP due to security concerns. If you would like the ISY to be visible in your network window then you need to go to Admin Console | Configuration | System | network and check UPnP.

Restoring ISY-994i From A Backup
It's a learning process, we've all been there. Glad to hear you got it resolved. I've found that the non-volatile memory in the KPL can sometimes get corrupted. The trusty factory re-set seems to put things back in order.

Reading UDReport.txt files
You may have run out of memory or be using an older version of Excel. I have over 85,000 rows and am able to open the file without an issue. Did you get an Excel error message? You always have the option of clearing your log file via the ISY but of course you'll lose your previous data. Not sure what the delimiter being used is.
