  1. @bmercier or anyone else, Is there a way to define nodes for Alexa A/V device mapping so you can put the nodes in instead of programs or variables like I see everyone doing? I don't use Alexa anymore, but would be nice to make that work properly, and hopefully will work with Google home soon. Just wondering if we can define nodeserver nodes in a way that they can be added directly?
  2. You are welcome, it is a little confusing and I forget some of the details, but describing them here helped to cement it in my brain, until it changes again. Yes, the rooms thing is annoying and made this list: https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/03/14/10-stupidly-simple-things-wish-google-home/ I really hope that gets fixed soon, I think @bmercier mentioned room support between GH and the Portal was coming sometime?
  3. Yes, I am Android, never will use an iPhoney See inline
  4. That is the correct way to set it up. I've had it that way from the beginning and have no issues. Do not create multiple portal users unless you want different devices controlled by each user. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  5. All accounts registered on your phone will show up in the GH app, that doesn't cause any problems, that's how all Google apps work. The problem would be if more than one of those is linked to the portal. Select each account, then select Home Control and see if Universal Devices shows up. If it shows for more than one account then unlink it. It's not possible to have a shared calendar without an email, we do exactly that and don't have any issue. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  6. What Michel says is what I have. If I remember correctly, I have multiple accounts using google home, but only one account is linked to portal, each account does not need to be linked to the portal. But, that account that is linked to the portal is a shared account so it exists on both our phones.
  7. GH is fixed. Thank you! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  8. I am trying to add a nodeserver node to Google Home in portal and it's returning an HTTP error 400. This used to work. I even tried deleting one that was already added, then re-adding it failed. EDIT: To clarify, I currently have a nodeserver node in my GH list, so I know it used to work. @bmercier
  9. I'm hoping Google gives access to the broadcast functionality, maybe they do, but I haven't seen it yet. https://www.blog.google/products/assistant/communicate-around-the-house-with-the-google-assistant/
  10. Yes, the currently playing info is available but no ability to send an announcement and then resume whatever playlist may have been currently playing in each device. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  11. I couldn't find where it allowed restoring the previous play state, If that capability existed then I would start working an interface for the ISY. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  12. Sending announcements is not that difficult, but as previously mentioned, it would interrupt what was currently playing and not resume after the announcement. Does the homeseer solution deal with that? Hopefully there's a way now. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  13. It was fixed by Benoit, there was another thread about the same issue. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  14. No idea, if they show up in the Google home devices list. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  15. Weird, So you can turn it on/off but not set brightness? I don't say "XXX lights" I just say "XXX" Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  16. Is it a device or scene? Just verified it works for me on a device. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  17. And you are using the Link Remote Linc 2 menu selection? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  18. Looks like the PyISY doc links are gone, the source is at https://github.com/automicus/PyISYYes, the wiki has links to the docs and the socket interface. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  19. There is no automatic way to have device changes pushed with rest. You could do that with the network resources, but that would be painful. You can subscribe and get changes thru a socket like PyISY does and others http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY_Developers Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  20. For that you would use a hue emulator, like the one in ISYHelper then add it to the Harmony then you can set light level in your watch movie activity. I control lights with my Harmony ultimate this way and directly wi the home control buttons. I know it's complicated, but it is possible [emoji16] Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  21. And there is the Polyglot wayhttp://forum.universal-devices.com/index.php?/topic/21388-Polyglot-Harmony-Hub-NodeServer Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  22. Yes there's now a button on the portal Google home page to force a refresh. http://forum.universal-devices.com/index.php?/topic/22875-ISY-Portal-Maintenance---11-12-2017 Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  23. When we do the send spoken, will that remove the room settings we already have in the Google home app? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  24. Nice, I'll be curious to hear how this works out for you as you use it more. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  25. Yes, I unlinkded and linked back to my usual portal account and it worked... Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
