  1. I have 6 of the Trane TZEMT400BB3NX and don't have any complaints, it reports all status to the ISY. I also have a never used Venstar T1700 that I will sell if it will work for you. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  2. Yes, I finally read that the only option was to use port 80, pretty lame that Google ignore what port the hub says it's on and assumes 80. But at least it works. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  3. I don't use mobilinc so can't say. I use it thru UDI Portal. There is info on the google home forum for adding IFTTT: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topicsearchin/googlehome/IFTTT https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/googlehome/SdKaKMQfNNg;context-place=topicsearchin/googlehome/IFTTT This issue has really caused me problems since Home is remembering deleted or renamed recipes. https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/googlehome/9-obS6U9Meo;context-place=topicsearchin/googlehome/IFTTT But I could create the step/by/step for IFTTT -> ISY Portal via Maker Channel. Not sure if I'll have any more time to play before going out of town all next week.
  4. Currently only thru IFTTT and maker channel. Works well, but tedious to set up each device. The HA bridge from bwsytems is supposed to work, but my quick try wasn't successful, need to spend more time with it. But I've seen that the official API is supposed to be released in December so hopefully better support soon. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  5. Oh Crap, that is not good news. The one that failed worked fine for 6 months, but died one week after replacing the fan with a hunter. I have 5 more of these Hunter fans, one installed tonight with a fanlinc Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  6. Thanks Gary, so will Smarthome allow returning ones that have not failed? And do they have new ones now? Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks everyone, right after mak this post I remembered that other post and I swear I deleted this post and posted on the other one. Sorry for the duplicate. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  8. I assumed I could replace the Hunter ceiling fan control shown in this picture with a FanLinc, and it worked fine for a few days but the fan started making a vibrating noise and stopped running while it was on low. Now it does not work at all on Low, but Medium and High work fine. Do you think it's a problem with the Fan or the FanLinc, which is a rev 1.9? I'm going to swap in another FanLinc that was meant for another fan, but wanted to get some opinions first...
  9. If you include the ISY in the current activity you should be able to program any button on the remote to run any command you have available on the ISY. I was asking just to know how you have it setup. I use my ISYHelper running on an RPi to integrate Harmony and Alexa with the ISY so it is all different, and cannot do what you are asking. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  10. What are you using to integrate the ISY and Harmony? Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  11. Agave would still run in the background to receive the push messages, it just wouldn't have to keep a subscription open to the ISY/Portal.
  12. Yes, the point is that it doesn't need a keep a constant connection to the portal because it's getting updates from FCM. I never said it couldn't connect to the portal.
  13. I'm not expert on FCM, but an app, like Agave can receive the FCM and notify you if it wants to, or just update it's database. The subscription connection I was talking about, was the Agave subscription to the portal or isy, not FCM. Lot's of docs are available: https://firebase.google.com/docs/cloud-messaging/
  14. It's not just for notifications, it would also be useful to have the status of a device or scene be updated. Then you could have Agave widgets that were in sync without having to hold a subscription open! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  15. Also search forum for ISYHelper, program to run on RPi Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk
  16. Harmony Elite. Can be integrated with Alexa with RPi and ISYHelper, or IFTTT. I heard harmony is working to get better integration with Alexa, but don't know the latest status. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  17. Has anyone been running with this modified version of the programs? I've been using the original version since they were posted and forgot the new sensors acted differently, and just installed a bunch of them in our lake house. Then I realized they worked differently so I read the entire thread again and found this update. I will update my programs, but we are leaving soon so I won't have much time to test. Probably should add a note on the OP that there are issues with new sensors and to see the later post. Also, Michel mentioned adding this to the wiki, but I couldn't find it there?
  18. Pushover. Allows lots of customization of the notification, including using the phone alarm to override silent mode for important ones, at least on Android. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  19. I thought the API allowed you to simulate that a button was pressed on the remote, but I could be wrong, I'll have to look at it again. If you want a no-lag option, get a RPi and run ISYHelper which also allows you to define harmony home control buttons to control ISY devices which has almost eliminated our need for remotelincs. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  20. I was just saying the IR from the harmony hub can be used to control the volume, which he obviously knows, and just wants a way to control it with Alexa, which I hope to be able to do sometime soon with ISYHelper or a harmony polyglot. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  21. That's what the harmony does, Stu. I hope to have time someday to move harmony control from ISYHelper into a polyglot node server which would make this easier. But have had almost no time the last month couple months to work on Polyglot. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  22. Yes, I read the section on forward phase dimmers, but it doesn't really answer my question. The question was that they list 2 Insteon dimmers that they say are compatible with these transformers, but the 2477D is not specifically listed. So, can I safely assume it will be as compatible as the ones they list?
  23. Yes Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks for all the details, but my wife will kill me if she can't control them with the switch. I want them to come on with motion like I currently already do, but at a dimmed level, then allow us to hit the switch to turn them all the way up. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  25. Can someone help me confirm if this power supply is compatible with the Insteon SwitchLinc Dimmer 2477D? http://www.armacostlighting.com/store/shop/12-watt-electronic-ac-dimmable-power-supply/ I assume it is because the compatibility list shows LampLink and MicroDimmer work? http://www.armacostlighting.com/store/electronic-dimmer-compatibility-list/ Also, if someone has a recommendation for better low wattage dimmer for LED strips I would appreciate it. I am going to replace 5 under-counter florescent's with LED strips and want the ability to dim them. They are currently hardwared with 14/2 romex thru the walls and I can't run low-voltage wire between them so I need 5 separate small, not crazy expensive dimmable power supplies. - Jim
