Does this thing work?
This nodeserver works great for me especially at it's price point. The only thing missing is being able to turn the subwoofers off/on but hopefully one day @bpwwercould look at that. Some of the things that I'm able to do with it is auto volume control. Instead of needing to adjust the volume manually, my volume will automatically lower the later it gets. If the music is on with the TV, the music will automatically turn down as well. Besides turning off my music when leaving, going to bed, etc; I'm also able to select my playlist based on different conditions without opening up the app. It also works with their newest speakers if you were to ever upgrade to the era line.

Polisy Link to EERO Zigbee
Im assuming that you upgraded your polisy to the latest firmware. In the firmware notes section, it shows current device compatibility list. That device is not on there.

Zigbee Distance from Polisy w Internal Card
Range varies due to environment. Being that this is their beta release, it'll be impossible for anyone here to say what range you would get based on their experiences. I suspect either you are too far or your device is not supported. Does it show up on the list on the firmware update page?

Zigbee motion sensors?
I'm assuming you updated your system to the latest firmware. According to the firmware update release notes, motion sensors are not supported yet

Does Eisy interface to Mobilinc?
https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/41603-my-isy994-died/

MY ISY994 Died
I doubt it since mobilinc has long been disco'd and not updated. Most here uses the UD Mobile app which information can be found under its own subforum on the main home page. You can also ask your question in the mobilinc subforum. Wes still responds there.

MY ISY994 Died
Under the eisy tab on the main forum page. If you google eisy wiki, you can also find information.

MY ISY994 Died
Same question was previously asked.

Meross devices
That depends on the technology they use. If it's zwave then they should add without issue if they use standard zwave commands.

Zigbee - Confirmed Working Thread
In case you weren't aware, there is no difference between the modules. The internal is what's used inside the USB enclosure

Why is this zmatter module listed as Beta?
I think you are confusing information that you've read. UDI (Michel) did say POLISY had 3 more years (less now) of support alongside EISY. Even then, if you look at the total time Polisy has been on the market, itll be 6 years total. Reality is, most products grow obsolete after a few years because technology changes. If UDI stayed the course with the exact same product, they'll eventually get left behind and go out of business. The good thing is that your products will still work. As the end user, you can choose to stick with what you have and not upgrade or you can upgrade and take advantage of whatever features a new product brings. For example, the zmatter stick is 700 series. In the next couple of years, 800 series devices will start coming out from en masse vs trickling out like they are now. Would you expect UDI to continue making the current dongle or come out with a new one? What about when 900 series devices hit? The same will apply to EISY as well. The chips that eisy uses will become obsolete or (potentially) the power needs will be increased due to new capabilities.

It's the same exact board so I would think so.

Adding Zigbee devices
Even with that, it'll still be your fault with the way people act on here sometimes

trying to add a zwave device to my ISY994i Pro
That doesn't necessarily work for adding devices. All must support Network wide inclusion. The op is better off bring it close to the isy to add, moving it to its final location and then choosing update neighbors

Eisy if/when/else
The ISY Cookbook is also a great resource for learning how to program. Programming starts around page 160

Eisy if/when/else
Post your program and we'll help you fix it.

Can I add Matter device yet? (Polisy with Zmatter USB)
The majors support it but its extremely buggy. UDI has stated their planned support but im sure they'll wait until the kinks have been worked out within the standard itself. Being that they are a much smaller company, they can't afford to support a buggy protocol that they cannot fix.

Zwave "scene" behavior with Zmatter board
You'll generally find device specific information in the full manual of the device your using since different mfg. will have different requirements.

Can I add Matter device yet? (Polisy with Zmatter USB)
Not yet. UDI will announce when it's ready. From what little I've seen, matter is far off from what was promised so it may be a while

Two (dimmer) switches, same circuit, different lights -- Can I link?
Yes. It's no different than linking any other set of lights

Is my ISY-994 zigbee compatible
To add to what MrBill said, there was a zigbee module for the ISY (just in case you happened to see that). However, it was used solely for compatible smart meters....It is not compatible with zigbee HA which is what you would need.

Insteon Dimmers in Scene with On Level NOT at 100%
I think the point everyone is trying to make is that other things will cause a switch to fail faster than burning through the memory so it's something that most here just aren't concerned with including myself. If that is a major concern, create multiple scenes with the devices as responders and set to your desired levels. Then you can simply create a program which triggers those scenes. No additional writes necessary

Can I use 994i backup to populate eisy admin console?
Yes, that is what you use when you migrate from 994 to eisy. There are about a dozen recent posts on how to migrate in addition to the wiki instructions. Just google eisy migration.
