Sudden issues with eisy
How old is the PLM? Any electrical events like nearby lightening strike, brown / black outs? In iox, go to tools/diagnostics/PLM info. What does it say?

2852-222 leak sensor misses heartbeat, +future HA
Yes.. factory reset then restore device. It also must be in linking mode first. The "running then" is normal for the typical battery monitoring programs

2852-222 leak sensor misses heartbeat, +future HA
My experience with Insteon sensor, battery only devices, especially after long periods of use, is to factory reset them, right-click in iox and pick "restore device". Doesn't always work but easy to try and frequently fixes it

Portal expired
I guess I thought it was required, I always have had it. We need more info; was it working at some point and stopped? What happened?

PolisyPro will not let me add any new devices?
Also factory reset the one that won't add, sometimes that wakes them up

How old is your plm? If you're not sure, there's a sticker on the back with four digits, post those digits

Replaced PLM, it will not talk to devices>>SOLVED!
I get it... we spend a lot of our time camping around the Great Lakes, in fact we're out now 😉

Ring Alarm Outdoor Contact Sensor 2 Zwave
Hot and cold temps are a factor... but my experience with those is the frequency of activation... the more they're used, the faster the batter dies. My experience with these and Insteon motion sensors is that when the batteries run low or dead they get flaky, it helps to factory reset them and right click on them in iox and pick restore device.

Replaced PLM, it will not talk to devices>>SOLVED!
I would also pick a device that's in a scene with several other devices, right click and pick "restore device"

Replaced PLM, it will not talk to devices>>SOLVED!
The new plm may have gotten 'confused' by the initial bad restore. I would try: Factory reset the PM: Unplug the plm from the wall, press and hold the set button while plugging it back in the wall, keep holding it until it beeps Unplug the ISY, wait about 10 seconds, plug back in, give it a couple minutes to fire up Try to restore the backup and then restore plm

Replaced PLM, it will not talk to devices>>SOLVED!
A possibility is that the PLM was so far gone that when you backed up, you backed an empty and/or corrupted PLM data table.... and that's what was restored. Do you have a good backup from before the problems started? Restore that and then restore the PLM, retest

How do I connect to a building on a separate meter?
Is there an outlet that is between the buildings, or any electrical lines to something like a lamppost where an outlet could be added and a dualband device like a lamp module could be plugged in and put in a weatherproof box? Dual band lamp type modules will repeat the insteon traffic in both directions. If the power drop is close enough to both buildings it's plausible that it will work.

Migrated to eisy - from/to programs not working
If you go to the programs tab, and then to the Summary sub-tab, take a look at Next Run Dates/Times for these programs and see if they make sense. When I first switched from my ISY to eisy, I had similar problems. I believe it was resolved by letting the eisy run for a couple of days and then it cleared up for good. Take a look here

Sudden loss of communication between keypad and fan
My experience with keypads is that they can get flaky after a few years of use. A simple thing to eliminate a few possibilities is to Factory reset the keypad In iox, right click on the keypad ("on"button) and pick restore device Try that and report back. If that doesn't work there are more detailed things to do

SMTP Error
You'll need to configure Gmail to allow your home automation controller to send notifications. Enable App Passwords – you need to generate an App Password in your Google Account settings. This is a special password that allows third-party apps to send emails without requiring your main Gmail password

General Question regarding integration
Most of the plugins have a trial period. You can try it, if it doesn't work the way you like, uninstall it

X-10 Devices Stopped Working With EISY.
We're kinda getting to the fringes here problem solving wise... Did UDI have you replace the data cable from the eisy to the PLM when you upgraded? If a specific lead was broken, that possibly explains it.

X-10 Devices Stopped Working With EISY.
Ok. You mention above you replaced the PLM... did this problem start about that time?
-
X-10 Devices Stopped Working With EISY.
Ok, you're welcome.. did that solve it?

X-10 Devices Stopped Working With EISY.
Ok. Did you unplug the PLM from the wall, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in and retest as listed in my first response? What happened? If that doesn't help, it looks like it might be some kind of new power-line noise; something new in your house that would have been added around the time the problem appeared. The way to start isolating that is to get a plugin x10 module, and temporarily plug it in to the same outlet as the PLM and repeat trying to turn it on with eisy / UDM. What happens?

X-10 Devices Stopped Working With EISY.
The PLM/eisy saw the device at House Code B, Unit Code 3 switch on. IThe question is, what programs, if any, do you have that act on B3? The same is true a few lines up for House Code N, Unit code 11. In a nutshell, your PLM/eisy is seeing x10 traffic so not the issue That takes it to what programming do you have for X10 devices, especially those 2 HC/UC combinations?
