  1. A leak sensor sends a heartbeat signal once every 24 hours. When the signal is received, the program executes the Then clause and starts waiting. After waiting 25 hours, it sends a notification that the battery must be low. If it had received another heartbeat the 25 hour wait would start over. This is more of a hint because often times the rf signal is simply missed so I don’t look unless it misses for 2 days.
  2. They were rigid built. I’ve still got 6 from 12 years ago and all still work. They have a bright LED on the side and it blinks as Insteon signals are seen. No guarantee it works but a very good sign.
  3. I repaired 6 out of 7 I had with capacitor replacements.
  4. Do I recall reading you’re a dealer / installer? If so, I would love to conversation offline. Don’t want to stir pot here more than necessary. That said, I too and impressed by Lutron and RA3. My feeling is there will be a few dominant protocols and manufacturers based on who builders start installing on a routine basis. There will likely be low, medium, and high end options. I’d like to see UDI perhaps on Polisy as a certified controller for RA3. Michel and team are best I’ve ever dealt with.
  5. As long as they are state variables like you named and indicated it will trigger on a change to either variable. Off the point and not a suggestion, I learned to program years ago so it’s funny to me seeing the short variable names. Mine would be named Indoor_Air_Quality_State.
  6. I see that you fixed it issue. I utilize Insteon scenes and the protocol keeps them in sync almost instantly if you have good comms. This is especially true if all devices are dual band. Were you getting cases where remote device did not set keypad button light that were in a scene together or you don’t use scenes with keypad button and remote device are in a scene together?
  7. You need to read link before commenting. The device pings an outside IP address and when there is no response it power cycles the devices.
  8. See if this article helps you for the future. https://www.homecamcafe.com/remotely-reboot-a-modem-or-router/ The more sophisticated device has been replaced with following. https://www.amazon.com/MSNSwitch-Internet-Enabled-Remote-Switch/dp/B081TKJJBS
  9. Go to this topic and find header for Install. The first download link is what I think you’re looking for. Follow instructions from there on and since new no pesky upgrade needed. /topic/33287-release-534-test-build-is-now-available/
  10. No big deal since all new. Just download correct firmware and load it. Are you going to go with latest 5.3.4?
  11. I’ve used DSC 1864 panel through NodeLink or DSCLink before it for 9 or 10 years — excellent integration.
  12. Thanks for great explanation!
  13. It may be here somewhere but I can’t find it. What is architecturally different between PG2 and PG3 nodeservers? My old guess was that if ISY and Polygot are both on Polisy, node updates would be direct inside the box instead of via network. However, it sounds like standalone ISY can talk to PG3.
  14. What’s running only at that time of year? Irrigation for example?
  15. Is this not it and in stock? H
  16. Is this not the plus version? Zooz 700 Series Z-Wave Plus S2 USB Stick ZST10 700 That’s what Michel linked.
  17. Thanks, that’s what I thought but I never purposely clear it except for ISY FW upgrades. Ill look over settings to see if some sort of auto clear setting.
  18. Where are they stored? Mine get overwritten or deleted regularly.
  19. I’d stop factory resetting things and enter a support ticket with UD.
  20. Insteon 2448A7 + RaspberryPi + ISY994? https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/topic?share_fid=23986&share_tid=32546&share_pid=315419&url=https://forum.universal-devices.com/index.php?/topic/32546-Insteon-2448A7-%2B-RaspberryPi-%2B-ISY994%3F/page__view__findpost__p__315419&share_type=t&link_source=app It’s post 40 in this thread.
  21. If you restore with same PLM, it does not update any device except for the PLM. Only takes a few minutes.
  22. Yes. I tested with it and there is a post with images.
  23. You’re at the limit of links so even if not root of this problem, you’ll likely need to review scenes to reclaim some space. My guess is you’ve used lots of scenes. Was the switch in question a recent addition? Another thing to try is to restore plm from ISY to see if you get back any orphan links. Can you pull switch from wall and attach to wiring harness shown above and plug in to same outlet as plm ?
  24. The listing feature does a get next link from the plm link n order to provide count. If an Insteon message arrives while it’s in progress, the plm will resume listing the records at where that located record is not the last place it was at in simple list feature. If the record accessed comes before where the listing had progressed, you get an artificial high count. If it comes after where you had progressed, you’ll get a low count. With lots of devices it is hard to get an accurate count, you have to make sure no one turns on a light or a motion sensor is tripped or a leak sensor sends a heartbeat signal. You had a more recent plm than original install so you’ve had to do a plm replace which would get rid of orphan records. So given that one of the counts was close to the recreated baseline of 991, you probably didn’t have orphan records and you’re near the limit. That said, I’d try it again a few more times to see if you can get a consistent count. If you’re at the limit, typically the only thing you can do is eliminate scene. Some report creating many scenes for different lighting moods. In those cases, you might be able to use alter scene in a program to get what you needs. It’s not as slick/fast as scenes but might get desired result but with a little lag as programs are not instantaneous. Try adding the device and see what you get.
