That'd be terrible. I have an S device that's wired to a non-dimmable load, but it's also a scene controller that sets a couple of dimmers to other than full on. A program introduces a delay that I really don't want. Plus with a program, devices respond sequentially. Scenes provide simultaneous responses. OTOH, I can live with the change if it takes a few decades to implement

Amazon did it again and broke device names with latest update...

It's true. Sometimes a spoken that's been working is suddenly confusing for Alexa. Fortunately, in our case it's not often, but it is frustrating. My solution is to add an additional spoken. Usually after using the new spoken a few times, the old one works, too. -
Deleted the new MS, factory reset, added it back using Link Management. Back to square one. I can change "ON only" so that an Off is sent. Unable to change the duration. I'll use the Hub to set the options. Did that with one other new MS and everything works as expected. In the interim, I'll stay with 4.6.2 until an improved v5+ is released, at least Beta.

Echo stopped discovering devices on one Amazon account

OK, it's up to us. Delete your account from the portal, then add your account back. You will have to re-add everything. Start with one, then try discovery. Unless someone chimes in with a different idea. -

You had Alexa working. That means that there were visible Insteon items in the Alexa app. Now there are none. What happened to cause the existing Insteon items to no longer be there? -
A typical Insteon 3-way configuration uses two 2477D switches (if the load is dimmable). Both devices get line and neutral (black and white, respectively) and only one connects to the load (red). Depending on the wires in each switch box, some wires need to be connected differently then they currently are, but no new wires are needed.

I don't know why the sites you linked to would mention UDI. Nor do they mention HomeSeer, Home Control Assistant or Indigo, all third party Insteon managers as is the ISY. But all those mentioned can be found on the retail website. In any case, here's the ISY on the Insteon web site

I wasn't clear. Do the original device/program/scenes that worked with Alexa still exist in the Alexa app, not just the portal. Also I don't know what, "Alexa just doesn't pull any of them," means. -
One RF device is inadequate to bridge the opposite legs of the split, single-phase electric supply. Two are required, one on each opposite leg. More that tow RF devices serve to increase the range and reliability of the Insteon network. But a Leak Sensor does not require bridging. I just needs to be within RF range of any dual-band (RF + powerline) device. A wired device (e.g., SwitchLinc, Keypad) will work as will any dual-band plug-in device. Depending on the house wiring (a subject we don't need to address now), you may-nay, probably will need a 2nd dual-band device in addition to the PLM.

Which specific sites, the manufacturer, the retailer, the Smarthome forum, the Insteon forum? Or a different site?

Echo stopped discovering devices on one Amazon account

You mentioned that the account was working. What happened to the devices/scenes/programs that were working? Do they no longer exist? Which specific Alexa skill do you have installed for the ISY? -
Tried that. Now the MS is not working at all (i.e., doesn't change state from Off except manually). Doesn't send off even though "On commands only" is unchecked. I might put more effort into this. Busy week ahead.

Log into your account on the portal. How many devices have you defined a spoken for? -

Do you mean new devices are not discovered or that the Alexa app on your account has no devices discovered at all? -
That'll happen if you're using Firefox which no longer supports Java. Try IE. In any case, the address is correct. Try the finder now. What IP address is displayed?
-
Can you access the ISY by typing the IP address into a browser?
-
That's exactly the purpose of the finder. If you have more than one ISY, how else could you select which one you wanted to access? You can also use the finder to choose between http and https if you have both configurations. But, you shouldn't have to add an address manually each time.
-
See my reply on your duplicate post (duplicate posts can will lead to confusing -for you- responses).
-
Simply using two routers won't work. Unless each router is made aware of the other, one router may not be able to access addresses on the other router.

A factory reset will bring the KPL to its default state. Which was the original KPL, 6 or 8-button? Did you ever change the original from one mode to the other mode? What is the replacement? Provide model numbers.
-
Hmm, I can add either/both to a program: If - No Conditions - (To add one, press 'Schedule' or 'Condition') Then Set 'DR / Devices / DR ZW004 Deadbolt' Lock Set 'MR / Devices / MR ZW003 Siren' On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') or to a scene
-
As Techman suggested (post #2), something on the powerline may be the culprit. A sure test it to use a long extension cord to power the PLM from the original outlet.
-
A disadvantage of using programs where a scene would suffice is that programs depend on the ISY to function, scenes do not.
