  1. Dashlane works well for me.
  2. I have several wireless Insteon thermostats. They all function fully in the ISY whether or not they're linked to a wired thermostat. Caveat: They're all powered with 5VDC external supplies.
  3. I've even gotten USPS Sunday and holiday deliveries with Amazon Prime
  4. Note edit 2. The Roomba will remain in use
  5. Most of what I've seen is the have the nonscheduled level be THEN and the scheduled level as ELSE. You'd need to change IF appropriately. Do you have the device as a scene Controller?
  6. I believe that the portal requires a minimum of eight characters, so I changed my ISY password to at least eight characters.
  7. Yes. It takes much, much, much, much more time than using a conventional vacuum, but it's much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much, much easier. In case you lost count, it takes four times as long, but it's a dozen times easier
  8. Which version of the PLM (Tools, Diagnostics, PLM Info/status)?
  9. Yes, a new thread will elicit more responses.
  10. That was a test that UDI did a short while ago. Forgetting and discovering is the fix, as you've found. Not to worry BTW, if you scroll down, then you can forget all devices at once.
  11. Pigs can be fun. Piglets are funner BTW, you can turn voice purchasing off.
  12. I see 15 possible usages, the specified value can be for any one of those.
  13. Because the specified value is not restricted to temperature.

    ZWave

The Z-Wave module includes an internal antenna. There is nothing that needs to be connected. The external antenna module is discontinued.

  16. One link for each responder, two links for a controller. (An ISY controller is both a controller and a responder.)
  17. My Roomba sucks. that is, it vacuums as it beats the carpet. So does the Scooba or it couldn't suck up the water after it mops. BTW, the Scooba does a great mopping job. Filling it is easy, cleaning it after mopping is not.
  18. A count of more that 900 is not just close, it's over what is considered safe. See: http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=INSTEON_No_Status_Feedback_From_Devices
  19. The Roomba, like many other devices, works fine by itself. Being me, I bought a remote when I got the Roomba (both the broom/vacuum and the mop) some years ago. The remote is useless except to turn it on--only. Once that's done the Roomba takes it's time to do a thorough job. No guidance is needed. Scheduling won't work here. Now, it anyone devises a robotic mop that fills and cleans itself...
  20. Whirlpool now has an Alexa compatible washing machine and dryer. More Alexa appliances are planned. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/alexa-start-the-washer-whirlpool-makes-it-possible-at-ces/ar-BBxR4kP
  21. If you have an ohmmeter, then you could check for continuity across Common and NO (0 ohms when the LED is lit, infinity when unlit) and between Common and NC (0 ohms when the LED is unlit, infinity when lit).
  22. The portal is not local at all. The portal allows secure access to the ISY from off-site using a browser as well as IFTTT and Echo, I purchased a network before the portal was available. It's mine to keep even if I discontinue the portal subscription.
  23. If updates are pending and automatic updates is disabled, then the icon will be grayed out. You can still perform manual updates.
  24. I've had Echo glitches, but controlling the scene manually or via the Admin Console never fails. That leads me to conclude that the problem is either the Echo or the Skill.
  25. Place the MS into linking mode. Right click on the MS, select Restore Device (Yes), then Write Updates to Device.
