  1. Isn't that what HA is about?
  2. The latest Z-Wave firmware is 4.55. It's been that way for awhile. I'm sure any update will be announced on the forum and/or email if you registered.
  3. The term "OutletLinc" has usually meant the Outlet dimmer. Is that what you are referring to or do you mean the dual On/Off outlet? If the former, powering a transformer can lead to destruction. You may get 1 or 2 or 5 years instead of 10-20.
  4. How often do you set the alarm? What is the variability, that is, is there a range of times?
  5. That'd work only if the program was initiated at precisely the same time each night. May as well put it on a timer. As far as a wake up time, "close enough" is not close enough.
  6. Try plugging the LampLinc in elsewhere. Any success? BTW, is anything plugged into the LampLinc and/or the OutletLinc? If so, try without a load.
  7. My voice is quicker than my feet. It's also more convenient.
  8. A 1011 is usually the indication of a communication difficulty. Are both devices on the same circuit?
  9. Only if the button is within reach of where you are when you make that decision
  10. Not currently. There are requests to create that ability.
  11. I have one of those on each side of the bed, on each side of the couch, on the dining room table and nearly everyplace else one would sit. Now that we have the portal, four accounts, three Echos and nine Dots we rarely use them
  12. No app is needed. Create a program that's scheduled to run at the wake-up time on the days that you designate. For example: If On Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri Time is 7:30:00AM Then - Actions you wan to occur - Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
  13. My experience is that open and close always works with devices, sometimes works with scenes and never works with programs.
  14. That depends on whether or not you have an ISY Pro. "Ok" doesn't define which.
  15. File, Restore Devices. You may need to do that twice. If you have an ISY Pro, then you should turn off Include battery powered devices ...
  16. It must have bee a quick sale, they're $79.99 now. Edit: the price you quoted is the Amazon price, not the Smarhome price. That's been the Amazon price for quite awhile
  17. That can certainly interfere with ISY features.
  18. Edit: Improved view
  19. When you select "Replace device_name with" for any 6- or 8-button KPL you should be give a choice of any 6- or 8-button KPL that you have added to the ISY. This is one of the few cases where an exact match is not required. Although the ISY will list the KPL as its native mode, the KPL will function as the mode you placed it in.
  20. A 8-button KPL does not have an Off button (nor an On) button. What you described is normal for any 8-button KPL button.
  21. How will an ID and/or security abate a toddlers curiosity, fun and fingers?
  22. Is that for all commands? Select Configuration, Portals. What did you find?
  23. Adjust Scene is a program Action. You can adjust each device in the scene and then turn on the scene. You can also include a resource in the program to control the window coverings. For example: If - No Conditions - (To add one, press 'Schedule' or 'Condition') Then Resource 'BR Courtyard/Pathway Close' Else Resource 'BR Courtyard/Pathway Open' I use On to close the window covering and Off to open it. Just keep in mind that "On" runs Then and "Off" runs Else. You can use any word for the spoken, for example, "Alexa, turn bedtime on." Edit: You can also create a separate lighting scene for bedtime and not need to adjust the existing scene. That way, you won't need to reset your scene.
  24. Yes, you can keep port forwarding along with the portal. You may still be able to purchase the network module separately. I purchased mine before the portal existed and it will remain if I don't renew. I really don't see any reason to not renew. I rarely use my Echos for anything but voice control
