I started with a 99i and upgraded to a 994i. You won't be sorry. Just the opposite, you'll be elated, especially after adding the portal and playing with the Dot

The magnetic switch that comes with the Garage Door Kit is reversed from what most want, the is On when closed and off when opened. Instead, use this sensor.

The most common reason for an ACT filter failure is the fuse. The XPF filter is a band-pass filter. It is effective for Insteon powerline signals. All my computer gear (PCs. UPS, router, Ethernet switches, printers, even more) is on a dedicated circuit filtered using an X10 Pro 3-wire XPF noise filter.

My example is just that, an example. The OP can set any preferred level(s).

Here's the same concept adjusting the device, not the scene (running version 4+): KT Ceiling If From Sunrise To 1:00:00AM (next day) Then Set 'KT / Devices / KT Ceiling 50' 50% Else Set 'KT / Devices / KT Ceiling 50' 10%

Here's my version 4 program: KT Ceiling If From Sunrise To 1:00:00AM (next day) Then In Scene 'KT / Scenes / KT Light' Set 'KT / Devices / KT Ceiling 50' 50% (On Level) Else In Scene 'KT / Scenes / KT Light' Set 'KT / Devices / KT Ceiling 50' 10% (On Level)

Post your program (right click, Copy to Clipboard).

Virtually none of my programs use their name as the "spoken." Filling in that name would slow me down as I'd have to delete the auto-fill.

I'm also using the Light Dims.

Backup the old, restore to the new. If you don't mind the tedium, it's really best to start anew. Tools, Generate Topology will give you a list of all devices along with their Insteon IDs.

Cannot Set Temp on Thermostat (Insteon 2441th) with Echo Dot
stusviews replied to BigEfromDaBx's topic in Amazon Echo
My experience is that the thermostat has to be in either heat or cool mode. I use programs to set the mode and to turn the thermostat off. -

New Devices to old Scenes - ISY not setting to "0"
stusviews replied to johnstewart's topic in ISY994
Select the device within the scene to adjust its level. Also select separately any controller (shown in red). -

I guess you forgot that the command at the bottom of the device list is "Forget All." I hope that's now clear -
There are lots of power supplies with the correct connection, the most common being a 12VDC camera power supply.

Title 24 requires that the load be turned on manually only and turns off x minutes after the area is vacant (no motion). Turning the load off manually should occur immediately. The strict requirement is that the load NOT turn on without physical intervention. A Title 24 compliant motion sensor wired to a Micro Module provides conformity to the California code as well as Insteon control. Not all wall sesors meet that condition. Here's a few that do: https://smile.amazon.com/Leviton-OSSMT-GDW-Ultrasonic-Infrared-Multi-Technology/dp/B002NU6MDE/ref=pd_day0_60_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B002NU6MDE&pd_rd_r=56RP1TDZRQAFBFEA8AME&pd_rd_w=5vcSr&pd_rd_wg=uisdt&psc=1&refRID=56RP1TDZRQAFBFEA8AME https://smile.amazon.com/TOPGREENER-Occupancy-Motion-NEUTRAL-REQUIRED/dp/B00LEZKFIW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1480659312&sr=8-2&keywords=motion+sensor+title+24 https://smile.amazon.com/Enerlites-DWOS-J-W-Commercial-Infrared-Occupancy/dp/B0032C9T82/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1480659312&sr=8-13&keywords=motion+sensor+title+24

I also have the Ecobee skill installed (among others), so that's not the problem. Your situation is unusual. I haven't the slightest idea why you are getting those results. Have you tried re-enabling the missing skills?

A Title 24 compliant sensor can be connected to a Micro Module.

If you are capable of creating scenes, then there are many posters who can help with programs free of charge. If you don't know how to create a scene, then there are many posters who can guide you free of charge. Home baked cookies are always welcome or a glass of wine or beer if you're in the neighborhood

California building code Title 24 requires that the lights be manually switched on and automatically switched off. Being able to manually switch off the load is optional, but does not take the place of an automatic (timed) off. The state is very strict regarding Title 24 requirements, the inspector may or may not be. You can emulate the requirement by using a program to turn the load on, definitely not a scene. Or you can install a Title 24 code compliant switch/sensor which is the method I use.
-
That's certainly the correct skill. Does any scene or device get discovered or is it only programs that are discovered? Do you have any other skills enabled?
-
There are two ISY skills. Which one have you enabled?
-
Thanks for the confirmation

that's specifically why I asked. So, I'll ask again, which motion sensor? The Insteon Motion sensor is not a vacancy sensor. I don't believe the code will allow you to emulate a vacancy sensor using a program.
